You don't even know that with every thread you start you simply dig yourself a deeper hole. Maybe we'll bury you in it, since you're just a fly-speckled turd.

Does Clutchfans still plan get-togethers at certain games?

If so, I'd mainly like to go to meet legitimate Rockets fans, and if I am overcome with pity, walk over to this person named Texxx and ask him how it feels to be such a bitter and lonely person.

bigtexxx, you seem to be having a bad day, so I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. You're probably posting thing because you think it will be upsetting to liberals. It doesn't make us upset. It makes us really, really happy. Every time a Republican puts another a venomous, hostile collection of silly exaggerations and straw men in a public space, we liberals get a little bit closer to reaching our political goals.

I don't need to go any further than your first point. You're equating the desire of same-sex couples to enjoy the same benefits as married couples to bestiality. You completely fail to engage with any of the arguments on the other side, and go for a cheap shot non sequitur instead.

Here's why things like your post make us happy, texxx. As a liberal, I'm happy to defend my political beliefs on their merits, but as long as people like you are the center of mass of your party, I don't have to. All I have to do is show stuff like your post to new voters and undecideds and say 'This angry, paranoid, insular, and unserious person is a typical Republican. This is the kind of person you will be associated with if you join the GOP.' Whatever you think of their respective politics, people generally like Barack Obama as a person, and they generally find Rush Limbaugh repulsive. Your side claims to revere Reagan, but you don't speak with any of the sunshine that made him so likeable.

So keep it up, bigtexxx. Shout it loud and shout it proud. Forward emails like this to everyone in your contact list. Maintain this tone in debates. Leave in no one doubt as to the nature of the Republican party. You're doing your country a great service.

It's people like the OP that keep this country divided. If you cannot see value in the opposing party, then you are a worthless individual yourself. Republicans have great ideas, so do Dems...

I don't know what the OP's problem is with the first item. I assume that many people living in the sheep herding regions of Germany either are German shepards or are married to German shepards.

Intentional thread derail: this is a REALLY good movie and everyone should see it. Much more of a political drama than a historical biography. And the acting is uniformly excellent. Daniel Day Lewis gives an Oscar-worthy performance, as expected. But Tommy Lee Jones steals almost every scene he's in and James Spader (!) reminds us that he has some acting chops. My pick for best picture of the year.

Funny huh? Somone typed a rebuttle to this hot garbage. I wonder how long it took you to make that list..

    Found this on the internet.

    1. I voted Republican because I believe in wasting BILLIONS in government welfare for oil companies but whine when one thin dime goes to a poor person.

    2. I voted Republican because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would....because everyone with any sense knows the Republican party spends just as much as any other party. And though my taxes are lower under a Democrat, I still am a stupid Republican who likes to vote against my best interests.

    3. I voted Republican because Freedom of Religion is fine as long as it is just my religion.

    4. I voted Republican because though I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, I want to be able to shoot up my neighbor's house when I get drunk on weekends.

    5. I voted Republican because I don't believe in science and the boys on Fox News told me that global warming stuff isn't true.

    6. I voted Republican because I'm not really concerned about millions of babies being aborted, but I'm more concerned with keeping women barefoot and pregnant and in their place.....which is fetchin' my beer.

    7. I voted Republican because I think illegal aliens should die on electrified fences protecting our borders and I voted Republican because I believe we should take away the social security from those who paid into it.

    8. I voted Republican because I believe that rich CEOS should make 400 times what their employees make and even though I am one of those employees who never seems to get ahead by voting for the Rich Man's Party, I am still not smart enough to do anything different.

    9. I voted Republican because I believe we need more crackpot right wing judges on the Supreme Court who rewrite the Constitution to suit some RICH kooks who want to buy elections so regular Americans will never have their voices heard.

    10. I voted Republican because I think that it's better to ship American oil to China and put BILLIONS in the pockets of oil barons. And I don't mind how badly they tear up this country to get that oil, just as long as it's not in my backyard.

    11. I voted Republican because while we live in the greatest, most wonderful country in the world, I was stupid enough to believe that George W. Bush was a "compassionate conservative" who didn't believe in nationbuilding, promising not to start wars and vowed to not hand any problems to administrations that followed his. He lied about all of this, but hey, I'm a stupid Republican and I'll die a stupid Republican.

    12. I voted Republican because my head is so firmly planted up my ass, it's unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view.
