I don't think his motivation is money. His motivation is ego. he wants the attention and adulation he got in his prime. He's in a league now where the best player is Stephon Marbury, not LeBron James.
Now that is going a little too far. His ego needed strokes in the past but I think he moved past that. He saw a chance to make playoff pushes and championship chances in a league below the NBA.
Hey idiot, you know sh!!t. That China team paid him $2M, tell me any D league team would pay a player over $100K. You'd rather play for the D league? LOL, cause you don't need money.
Former star players go to a secondary league to earn his last paychecks. Soccer players like Gary Lineker, Zico, etc (do you even know who they are?) joined the J-league in the 90's. Pele, the best soccer players in the history of mankind, played in the US for a few seasons in the 70's. David Beckham, Thierry Henry, etc are in the MLS today. That's just the way professional sports are, have been and will be. You are so naive and ignorant that is beyond comprehension.
You keep posting in this damn thread because you want attention. STFU. No one gives a flying sh'' about your thoughts on him, we know how you feel. You make this forum worse by posting constant BS in the same thread.
I always liked T-Mac. He is a great player despite somewhat disappointing performance during the post-seasons. There is no SG like T-Mac in his prime.
There's no SG with that much talent and the uncanny ability to never lead teams to playoff victories. Michael Jordan and Kobe are about 2 billion times better than him. I think Michael Jordan with the flu and a broken leg is better than a prime tmac.
The chinese league is farsical. If JR Smith can tear it apart or a fat bouncey whale, thats all i need to know. BTW, TMAC isnt cash strapped. He has been very smart with his money.
