This is game 14 for the Heat in the regular season. There is no good insight that can be made from this game.

    Stern's NBA is so crooked.

And he barely got dream in there. Dream is on the same level as Jordan.

Miami just barely eeked this game out. Refs pushed them over the finish line, so that Stern wouldn't have to eat crow.

Nice game, Heat barely beat a Scrub powered Spurs team.

    LBJ playing 39 mins.

Great game. Popavich is a great coach and kudos to him for doing what he wants.

Ehhh... I think the refs were pretty favorable to the Spurs in the last few minutes.

I get what Chuck was trying to say. Compared to the players in the league now, LBJ does have a Jordan like gap over them.

    However Jordan was better imho.

This is what Miami always do in da regular season, nobody remember when they lost to da Bulls without d rose? Or how da Bucks swept them in regular season before they won a championship? Or how Boston swept them in da regular season?

I think its good it was this close. It shows the casual fan that nearly all NBA players can really play. Just because you don't recognize Gary Neal for example doesn't mean he is some LA Fitness scrub.

Oh I didn't know you were such a fan of his, maybe you can help clear this up. So why does LeBron James miss over a third of his free throws as a wing player, and is especially susceptible to misses in clutch situations? You said he was a great player, but that's not something a great player does. I'm confused.

Boston had Miami on the ropes and took a super human effort by Lebron to get them to Miami for a game 7...

Spurs have a tremendous advantage over the heat because of Greg Pop...he makes that engine churn...ie tonights game...

This is game 17 for the Spurs. I agree with sugrlndkid. The Spurs were playing their JV squad against the ultra-talented Heat. I think this gives much credibility to the importance of shrewd and high-level thinking coaching.

If you would ask my bandwagoning countrymen who Gary Neal is, they would probably say he is a pop singer.

Ask them who LBJ is, and they would spell his name word for word.

One of my buddies even said yesterday, "Who's that dunking white dude from the Rockets?"
