The way the Spurs are playing tonight really gives me insight into what may have happened if the Heat and Spurs were matched up last year...Sure its one game...but this is the scrubs of the Spurs playing against the A team of the Heat...this clearly should show that good coaching can truly impact a game...

Uhh yeah I believe that... His team is old and has had issues staying fresh over 82 games.... It is the end of a long exhausting road trip and they have a more important game Saturday against the Grizzlies. Popovich made a smart strategic decision to take a loss but be rested and fresh. Baseball managers like Tony LaRussa do it all the time.

Can Stern penalize? The game may have been closer this way.

Agree 100%, when you go to a game there is no guarantee whom will and will not play and what strategic decisions a coach may make.

I love the MVP chants followed by gasps whenever the supposed "better than Michael Jordan" player, a 67% FT shooter on the season, bricks a clutch free throw like woah

I wonder how many games this Spurs team could win in a season.
