We are ranking players as to who is the best on the team. So silly. Basketball is such a complex sport. An individuals play is dependent on so many factors.
sounds like an excuse not to rank players. for example, let's pick the thunder. 1. kevin durant 2. russell westbrook heat. 1. lebron james 2. dwayne wade not too hard
For those who truly are annoyed at Lin's play so far, and not just hating for the sake of hating... keep the following in mind. In the history of Morey, he has always gotten rid of bad assets at the earliest possible moment. When Steve Francis could no longer play, he was shipped out before locker room issues could arise. When Ariza showed no improvement, Morey quickly traded him away for a better player and lesser contract. When Aaron Brooks lost his explosion following his injury and about to be paid, Morey quickly sold him. If Lin truly is detrimental to the Rockets future, he'll be traded to another team in the offseason.
you forgot when Morey dumped that Tmac dude too like how someone feels an hour after eating a bunch of gorditas at taco bell
men I am laughing hard on this.... I really want to see this starting five and good luck harden -pg PPatt-pf Parson-sf Morris-sg (interchange with parson) asik-center
No kidding. No saying such ranking is necessary. But if we were to rank the players, how the hell would you rank them other than based on "who's best on the team"??? We ain't Carl who would rank players based on their sexiness...
Just stop hating on this guy. A lot of the "Rockets only fan" keep saying he'll get torched by this PG and that PG, but Lin keeps holding his own in the league and stopping these elite PGs one after another. Yet many of you are still blinded by the fact that this man is rock solid and hard to beat. Let me just say this, if Durant and the coach thinks that they rather double/triple team him and leave the other 3 positions open, then you know that this guy has got something truly special. And also even on a night where he was double teamed pretty much the whole game, he still manage to go 3-7, 8 dimes, 4 st, and 3 rb. But most importantly, kept the flow of the game going without having a feltdown.
Not that it wasn't already obvious but I like how even Durant comes out and admits their gameplan was to get the ball out of James AND Jeremy's hands and dare the others to beat them. Still LOLing at those last night whose selective eyesight only saw James get relentlessly double teamed. Wouldn't surprise me if they came out and called Durant a LOF who's giving Lin too much credit.
blow it up your ass. it's an opinion you fool. can't stand being called a hater for expressing an opinion. That's what the BBS is for ...to express opinions. I loath your kind ...jackass.
I'd put Bosh at number 2, but that is debatable. Harden is hands down the best player on the team, but I'd say Asik, Parsons, and Lin are pretty even cause they all bring something different to the team. Asik is a defensive beast who consistently out rebounds the other team's center. Lin creates shots for others and sets his teammates up for high percentage shots. Parsons is a solid all around player. If you only look at scoring though then I guess Harden and Parsons are the top 2 and Lin is at the bottom.
My rank, not "best" but importance/impact: 1. Asik 2. Harden 3. Lin/Parsons 4. Everyone else This team would look absolutely atrocious if Asik were out. Just dismal. If Harden were out, not sure if the team could score enough, depends on if Lin stepped up, not having to defer to a better guard in Harden. If Lin were out, you'd see the offense not flowing well. Parsons is an incredible glue guy and need his defense too (especially since Harden isn't good at it), but I think the team could win some games without him, just not back to back with a funeral thrown in against OKC. Of course injuries to the starting lineup wouldn't be so damn scary if there were a proper bench. I like Greg, Mook, etc. but still.
I put quotations there because some of these fans claims to be a Rockets fan but when their PG plays a hard good game, they still talk crap about their own PG magnifying small mistakes while ignoring the reality of the situation of the game. Their validity of being a Rockets fan is questionable. Good example is the OKC game, anybody with a good set of good eyes can see that Lin really stopped Westbrook and played hard D during the night. He was also double teamed the entire game. Even Durant admitted that this was the strat. Yet people over look these and talk as if their PG is some scrub. How can you call yourself a fan of the Rockets when your PG is putting all his effort, playing his heart out for the team and yet at the same time these "Rockets fans" just want to talk trash and downplay him?
yeah but with the strings attached to "Linsanity" and all the LOF's who seemed to have made a Grover Norquist-like pledge to always treat Jeremy Lin like a God, or who dress up like Jeremy Lin and stare at themselves in the mirror when they are home alone, or for those who can't stop playing with themselves when they watch youtube videos of the Knicks' 2011 season; moving Lin is not like moving the typical "bad asset". It'll take some stones to move that guy.
please be patient with jeremy. he is not as good as linsanity said but hes better then his numbers this season. he will come around.
