Dei is not r****d. He is just learning challenged. ;)

I enjoy reading Dei's posts. If every posters here are so politically correct, we wouldn't be having much fun.

Dei a contested shot still bothers an opponent even if it's a shot he can normally hit. I'm sure you watch enough basketball and know enough basketball to understand this.

This thread has all of a sudden become full of win.

LOHs vs LOFs is not even about Jeremy at this point. :)

Dei can't respond to this because he didn't watch the game.

I'm done for tonight, you guys don't respect or appreciate Dei's intellect and basketball IQ. :(

Roxxy, dreamweaver, akim, it's your kind of reasonable and factual evidence that's ruining this forum.

Lin is simply amazing. Even when he only scored 6 points, he was the only player people showed any interest in discussing.

Is this part of the moneyball that Morey subscribes to?

Most of them are Russ' shots just like how Durant scores even when he's got a guy on him (though, Russ is more of a chucker). But in the possessions Lin got picked off, good or bad shot, that's not Lin defending him. So don't tell me he did a great job on Russ. I said it before, I think he did OK, well, maybe a little bit more than OK since he got some steals but no way did he shot Russ down.

I'm just gonna reply to the guys who're bothering to put up arguments. You LOFs can enjoy your circlejerk.

Where did I say that Lin shut down Russ though? And the fact that Russ had to pick Lin off to get past him showed that Lin was good defensively. The entire point of a pick/screen is to get by your man. If your man is a poor defender like Kyrie or Dame you don't need a pick you can just beat him off the bounce. Lin on the other hand isn't a poor defender so Russ needed a bit of help. We all remember the pre-season game where Russ was trying to post Lin up. Russ tried a couple of times this game but Lin was prepared. Notice I never said Lin shut down Russ. I said that Lin played solid D on him. There was one play though where Lin literally ate Russ alive on the wing right in front of OKC's bench forcing a TO. I just disagreed with the assertion that people said Lin was getting killed off the dribble he wasn't.

Since you politely asked for substance, here we go.

About the only think Tmac got left now is his shooting. Did you see how he just laid the ball up when he was 3 feet from the basket? He had no legs. He also could not defend NBA caliber players any more.

What exactly is playing in CBA going to reignite his career? Did you see how slowly he moved against the inferior CBA players?

As for all your ramblings about Westbrook having his way with Lin tonight, I couldn't help to think that your hatred for Lin has blinded your sight. Any NBA fan worth his salt would describe Lin's defense tonight as good to very good. There you have it. Basketball 101 for the newbie

The PnR is a standard basketball play, that's why.

So I never mentioned scoring? You guys are pulling stuff out of your asses?

I did say it was OK. Said it several pages before and just recently. You don't read my posts do you?

Dei already formulated his opinion after the Miami game which is the 7th game of the season. There is no point to reply to any of his Lin posts because there is nothing anyone can post on this board that will change his opinion. Why waste your time?
