Well, not in this game since he couldn't get any room to shoot, but yeah he should shoot more when the defense is not so stifling. Lin helped us stay close by not shooting and passing the his open team mates.
I think your right about that, when he starts shooting better people will ease off of him. I wonder how much of his shooting has to do with his conditioning from the injury. We all know that when you lose your legs your shot goes. The Toronto game was his best shooting night so far this year after he had a lot of rest. Maybe as he gets his strength back he will shoot better.

Those weren't open shots (and nobody shoots at 100% clip) but those were Westbrook's shots. He makes those on a game to game basis.
You aren't serious with this are you? There were times where Russ shot fade away jumpers that were contested. There were other times where Lin was picked off (by Serge) & Russ turned the corner & Patt didn't rotate to cover him. Sometime the help defender did rotate quick enough but Russ still managed to score on a tough shot. There were also other times where Russ tried to beat Lin off the dribble & failed got it stolen or turned it over. I saw it like two times. Russ also tried to back Lin down in the post but wasn't able to get a good enough position & was forced to pass. I think I saw twice where Russ did beat Lin off the dribble & got to the basket. All in all a solid defensive showing by Lin on D, a few lapses but far more successes.
Na can't be bothered, based on what you posted you clearly didn't watch the game, actually i doubt you have ever paid attention at how pick n roll is defended in general. Anyway, I just wanted to point it out. Keep on dishing your points by looking at box score.
I bet you dumbasses think Dei fails at reading comprehension, but Dei is actually too smart to even process such a straight forward question. Dei, I thought of more things people are foolish enough to give Lin credit for, -Lin's jumper has NOT improved, the rim is just being nice to him. -and finally Lin isn't a really a good rebounder, PPat just let him take credit for his. I strongly advise that rockets137 work on his English while you work on your basketball knowledge. In the Tmac thread, you were actually wishing that Tmac could re-ignite himself so that Rockets could re-sign him. Is scoring points the only meaningful stat to you in basketball?
