It's on NBA TV (which is blacked out in houston). Unfortunately my league pass +proxy method isn't going to work today. First row sports does have a pretty clear stream. Though
For the first time in decades, I am not even keeping track of how the Rockets are doing. The lack of broadcast has resulted in me watching zero games, and the bitterness I feel for how fans like me are being mistreated diminishes my interest and my desire to support the Houston Rockets. It is a sad, sad thing.
I'm right there with you, never thought this day would come.....: Rocket Fan since early eighties and now almost don't care anymore, great job Rockets!!!'
"DirecTv will not be carrying CSN Houston, after being unable to come to an agreement on a price" Wait, so this is done and done??? Final? Man fk this sht.
Call again and get a different rep. It only took me two calls, I finally got a nice lady in Missouri who cut my bill from $212 a month to $140 for the next year. This includes U450, all sports packages and music, and the fastest internet available. I also do not have to pay for any receiver and I get free HD now. I told them I had a better offer from Direct TV and they quickly lowered my bill.
That is what it sounds like. I called them last night extremely pissed off and talked to a manager who continued to feed me the same crap they always have. I told him I have seen that article stating that DirecTV will not be carrying CSN and I asked him when he planned on letting their customers know that. He said he didn't know anything about the deal. I think they are just blowing smoke up everyones ass to keep their customers. I told them if they don't have any updates by mid December I am leaving
I wonder what will happen first. CSN Houston is picked up by the big providers, or Royce White comes back to the Rockets?
Batten down the hatches, guys. I have a feeling we aren't going to see a resolution to this any time soon. I am fully prepared for the possibility that I won't get to watch a single game this season. Not happy.....but prepared. We can blame whoever we want - CSN Houston, the carriers, Comcast, Tracy McGrady.....the bottom line is that the Houston Rockets have an obligation to make sure their games are available to their fans. And they failed to do that. This is THEIR product. THEY need to make it available to everyone. This is all 100% their fault. I'm not including the Astros because their season hasn't started yet. So technically, they haven't deprived their fans of a single game. The Rockets, on the other hand...... This sucks because I had planned on following the Rockets a lot more this season than the last 2 or 3. Once the Dwight Howard nonsense was finally resolved, I told myself I was going to get back to being the die-hard fan I was as recently as 2 years ago (and the 25 years before that). It's very hard to do that when you can't watch a single game on TV. In short, I am no longer blaming CSN Houston or my carrier. I am blaming the Houston Rockets.
I called and got League pass for 5$. Not 5/month.... But the whole thing for just 5 dollars. You gotta be rude and ugly though lol and ask to talk to manager that's what I did.
Just get hip to the on line feeds aka roxxbball in HD. no charges-no bs....hit the word HERE in each Game Thread feed and go the last page.( offical thread for THAT game.) Do a little bit of work and stop whining. There is ALWAYS a work around if you want to watch. I have seen ever pre-season and game this way by connecting a simple 5 dollar cable to my big screen. Also stick in an audio cable a viola! HD Stereo ! Suck it Comcast !
None of this made any sense to me. Link goes nowhere, and no matter how many cables or monitors you have...when streams are terrible, you can't just make them HD.
Ok apparently the HERE part wasn't suppose to be a link, my bad. Regardless, the problem is still the same...no CSN on major providers
