Can't remember a leading scorer for a team having so few points. Are they trying to tank? Seems the coach played 13 guys almost all the same minutes.

Calling Durvasa, What is the NBA record for least points by the leading scorer on a team? As a measure, Kornel David led Chicago with 13pts when they set the record for fewest points in a game, 49 points.
Alvin Gentry's plan to bench half his starters has been baffling. I seriously think the man is either not intelligent or has been given orders from higher up to do it. Morris' twin brother and Shannon Brown have been getting starts over Scola(??) and Jared Dudley (eh...). It "worked" in about 2 games that were blowout wins for the Suns anyway, and so Gentry has stubbornly stuck by this ingenious plan to cut the minutes of the best players on the team. The man is clueless. I've been checking the boxes of these Suns games, and the former starters like Scola are almost always posting better +/-s and adjusted stats than the actual starters, even when playing against the other team's starters.
They are rebuilding. It's a professional sports team so they still need to put players on the floor. They're banking on one of Beasley to take it to another level. It's the same situation as the Rockets were pre-Harden trade.
They don't kinda suck. They do suck. I'd hate to be a Suns fan right about now. That roster looks like crap. They have no star or exciting young players and their big man is disgruntled. They probably have the worst combo of players to fill the SG position in Jared Dudley and Shannon Brown. Not getting Eric Gordon hurt. I'd rather pay an injured Gordon to sit on the bench and play 4 on 5 than decide who to start between Dudley and Brown.
