That was the best chance to score. Do you prefer Lin breaking the double team and score? 2 points is 2 points. Patterson/Asik layups have a higher chance of going in instead of shots in traffic. The main difference tonight is that we just lacked effort on defense and Cook. Harden couldnt guard Durant at all. Parsons wouldve been huge as he could sty with Durant. Cook just chucks and sucks at it.
<br> This is such a bad argument. Every good player will play hard D against you. That's why it is the NBA. Anyways, I saw Lin revert to how he was playing before these last few games again tonight. That's not a good sign. But to be fair, it was OKC. And their game plan was to take Harden and Lin out of the game.
Haters find ways to hate. While Lin wasn't scoring, he played good D and distributed the ball well. He was an integral part of the team. Isn't that what coaches want from all their players?
Douglas is doing what Toney Douglas does. Being a headless chicken idiot, <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/QVl2QfGR16k" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He didn't score much on a night when we really needed it and had some turnovers, but he looked good on that coast-to-coast play. I'm hoping he's still mentally working thru his knee recovery and continues playing hard. Maybe his shots start to fall for him after the road trip and the emotional week.
Compared to his defense against Lillard and Nate Robinson, it was light years better. He was actually getting his hands in there and knocking the balls out while WB was driving. Was it perfect? No.
What the hell you talking about?? This is your circle jerk, we are just trying to break it up before you splurge all over yourselves...
Yeah don't know what people expect. If he had tried to force it against the defense and ended up with a 3/15 shooting night like Harden, he would be getting crucified too.
All the lin haters come out at full strength after a tough loss against thunder. No let's not worry about any other players performance lets focus on Lin, the only player on the court making things happen while playing great D on westbrook. Lets not talk about the team was on the second game of a back to back nor they flew from minnesota, **** this team, they suck. They should have beaten this thunders team which is only projected to be a top 3 team this year. Last but not least, **** you all haters.
If Lin is getting 3 steals on Westbrook then that means he's playing close enough to him to effect his shots. He body Westbrook up pretty well although WB is a freak of nature and still get a shot up, they were contested just enough.
i would take this guy over lin right now, 10 times out of 10.. <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/dbvJOVz7-8Q" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="560"></iframe>
I wonder if people would have preferred if Lin decided to jack up bad shots like Harden then and end up with 16 shots and 3 makes? When he was handling the ball he made smart plays, could easily have had 10+ assists. Which is what you want from your PG when they are being trapped hard and double teamed. He also played fantastic defense. The double standards that people have when it comes to judging Lin compared to any other player on the team is really sad. And I'm not talking about the trolls.
My bad...I meant OKC was putting hard D on Lin and Harden all night. Im just pointing out to Lin bashers that he really wasnt playing too bad this game. Not as aggressive but still did pretty decent against a team thats probably making the finals and without parsons on the court.
He wasn't controlling the tempo of the game well and commanding it like a PG should. Sure we can forgive him for not making his ****s either, but Lin was playing scared. He wasn't even looking to shoot, picked up his dribble wayy too early every time. I'd rather have Rafer who couldn't hit the back side of a barn than someone too scared.
You guys were expecting too much if you put into consideration Lin who's still pretty much a rookie in terms of starts going against a top team and a top pg in WB. Westbrook lights up pretty much everyone he plays even the elites.
That is deff. a no brainer if he plays like he used to. But Aaron Brooks, as much as I loved the guy wasn't the same after that injury. Hopefully he can get back in the groove.
Also, considering that Westbrook wasn't being doubled the way Lin and Harden were, I think people should have the decency to acknowledge that Lin defended him quite well.
Really? He plays no D, gets caught in the air with no look or anyone to pass to often, and is a chucker. Aaron Brooks is a nice 6th man but he is not a good starting PG. His skillset is basically the same as Harden's. Atleast Lin can make correct passes.
