Isnt Amare also very efficient scorer? he was untila paired with melo, if am not worng... How about other efficient scorers from knicks? and they are in deep **** years now... aren't they? no perspective for them...

on the other hand have you watched knicks vs rockets game 30pts blowout...their game was pathetic...melo melo and only melo iso...he has goods stats and look impressive but no team play...

Dirk's actually only 6'10 barefoot (vs. Parsons 6'9). Of course Parsons can never be as good as Dirk though. I was never trying to imply that. I just meant it's a good sign for the future that their stats are so similiar.

I'm not sure. Would I trade Parsons for him? Absolutely. Parsons isn't going to be making < $1M forever.

    Parsons

The comparison that comes to mind is Shawn Marion, The Matrix, in his Phoenix days. Both fill the stat sheet and are tough defenders.

I don't think that is a very good comparison either. Miller was never the defender that Parsons is, and I don't think he rebounded as well or slashed as well. Meanwhile, I think Miller was a much more natural shooter/ scorer when he came into the league, and I also remember him being a better perimeter ball handler.

I see Parsons getting an 6 to 8 million contract after his rookie contract is done, which is pretty good but if you ever have a chance to get a player like Melo you do it ask questions later.

i would trade them for lebron...lebron is way better than cp3 and lebron is a much better player especially team player than melo...New York has had Melo for years now and what he gave them...meh...nothing special...

the only scenario perhaps where I would trade parsons for Melo is to sell him or trade him further for truly valuable players...

Chris Paul is a top 3 player in the league after Dwight and Lebron.

Compared to other past players Scottie Pippen's style of play comes to mind. Obviously Pippen was better, but their games are similar in being excellent defenders, good scorers with the ability to put the ball on the floor and create.

Before Parsons can be compared to Pippen, he'd at least have to reach the levels of poor-man Pippens, if you will. Players like Marion, AK47 in his prime, or Tayshaun Prince. Pippen has way too many elite skills to be an apt comparison for any role player.

wanting a proven cancer who has done absolutely nothing is even more ridiculous.
