Yes, i agree with you that he does't finish well at the moment and he defers to much but come on give him a chance and be patient a bit before saying (some fans and not you specifically so pls don't be upset) "Ship his @ss out of town".

Yup and this team is supposed to be developing over time. Just because James Harden is on the team doesn't mean the Rockets were contenders. Everyone, included Rockets fans, expected this team to tank.

Yes they do, just ask Javalee McGee and Kwame Brown. Lin coming in his 3rd year is still developing but you clearly don't think so, that's okay.

Agreed, as great as Harden is he cannot carry this young team by himself. I do really like this team but some people are acting like the Roxx are contenders overnight.

But those were utterly stupid signings. Daryl Morey's not that stupid. Stupid move getting Lin but no way in hell did he get Lin as a pure prospect.

And it wasn't purely for basketball reasons. Lin is only 24 and has stated countless times that he's still young and needs more experience.

No. We already got our prospects in the draft. We wanted them to win as many games as they could because that would mean they were good players. If they couldn't, then that means another lottery.

There's a difference between rebuilding and tanking. Tanking is part of rebuilding - not a necessary step as proven by the Rockets because they made some good trades.

nobody wants him with his performance and contract. Rockets are stuck with him until he improves.

Rookies aren't the only prospects or players with potential. Rebuilding involves tanking sure, that's quite obvious, but that doesn't mean other players aren't expected to still develop over time. That's the point.

The biggest trade was for Harden, that doesn't solidify the front court nor improve the bench. It gives the Rockets a player to make a more serious run in the future. Both Asik and Lin were never seen as finished products.

Right on - folks that want to further screw Lin. Your rants are just hurting the Rockets. The Rockets paid him so much and now they got to make him work. No choice. Nobody is going to trade for him at this state.

I am not going to defend his performance for now cause it sucks.
But for his sake and the rockets sake, I hope he fixes his damn shooting at least, at least to the level that it was in the first 2 games.

So if guys are Rockets Fans , you got to pray for him to improve. either way.

There is a reason some people are successful and some are not. The successful ones will not take current circumstances as indicators of failure but opportunities to grow. The unsuccessful ones will just blame their current circumstances on whatever/whomever they can blame on and move on to the next set of circumstances. That's why many are stuck in life without moving forward.

    Many LOHs fit the latter.

Lin showed what he can do and will do it. Morey knows. Barring injury, Lin will average his expected stats by end of the season. most importantly, Lin is beginning to affect the flow of games on the defensive side which added value to what he brought to the table initially.

Lin has been strong defesively all season. His only downsides been defending late game iso and pick and roll plays against quicker point guards.

Easily Lin's best game as a Rocket. And honestly, with the way he was playing yesterday, if he wanted to be the man instead of deferring to Harden, he could have dropped 30 and 15. Still needs to work on protecting the ball better and his man defense, he got beat off the dribble several times...give Sampson a reason to not play Douglas anymore.
