LOHs have been doing that since the season started. It's nothing new.

I hope Lin does have a career like "Steve Nash with D" just to shut them all up. I'm in now way a LOF but I'm still gonna root for him to do well because he's a Rocket, he's a great guy, and he's the best PG we've got right now.

Tomorrow is a tough call.... its going to be a long day and leaving a funeral and geting on another plane and going to play a game after playing long minutes...who knows whats going to happen.

I dont think any point guard under normal circumstances will light up Lin. He can play d, hes very quick....we'll see

I think what Lin needs to get more credit for, is that when he's really 'running' PG, the team does better. To me, that was the real beauty of Linsanity, not just his individual stats.

He gets his teammates shots in their comfort zones, and his penetration leads to a lot of second passes that lead to easy shots, even though he won't be credited with the assist.

If you take out the six games where Lin played corner 3pt shooting PG, the Rockets would probably be #1 in the NBA in points scored.

109.1 points per game scored when Lin's running PG, vs 90.8 in the six games when Lin was pre-dominately corner 3pt shooting.

    That's an 18 point difference.

For a bunch of 24 year olds, with 4/5 members of the starting 5 not having started for a full season yet in their NBA career, and the other one a 2nd year player in Parsons.

Still have yet to see anybody actively rooting for Lowry and against Lin. Stop making things up, people.

A great win against a lousy team! Heck, 4 in a row, guys, is 4 in a row, regardless of who you beat. I really enjoyed this. Asik had another tremendous game, looking awkward as all get out while playing much of it, but he had a huge defensive impact. The higher than usual offensive output from the big fella was a bonus. If Harden keeps having games like this, we're apt to just get used to it and take him for granted. As the team gels, Harden and everyone else keeps improving.

Jeremy Lin is starting to play like we hoped he would when Morey signed him. While he didn't bust out for 25, getting 16 points, 4 boards, 3 steals, and 10 assists with "only" 3 turnovers is a stat line just about any coach in the league would be thrilled to see next to the name of his starting point. Loved how he looked tonight. Jeremy looked more comfortable in his role with the Rockets, the best I've seen so far. Parsons and Patterson were outstanding. The starting 5 seemed able to turn it up whenever Toronto hinted at starting a run. I loved seeing that. We still need better bench production beyond what we're getting from Morris, who's playing like he just woke up from a year long nap and remembered what he could do, and gets better at it each game.

Four wins in a row from this young team! I sure hope they can keep it up.

Guys...Lin didn't destroy Lowry. Likewise, Lowry didn't destroy anyone as well. What matter's is the W...so tonight Houston and Lin came out with a W. Basketball is not the 100m dash or singles tennis...it's a team sport so if you play as such you most likely will end up with a W for the team. The last two games, along with the first two games, clearly display this team effort!

    from the Raps forum

What pains me is how much smarter Houston looked...

It's not like they have superior talent. Harden, yes, they actually have a franchise player now, but other than him, it's more about how well they are playing together at both ends of the floor that contrasts so much with how ****ty the Raps look at the moment. And they also have a lot of young players, a lot of new players starting and playing major minutes - and yet they look cohesive while the Raps look disoriented.

Could it have something to do with coaching, I wonder...?

I still think this is a mediocre team when all is said and done. We have a weak bench and are an injury to Harden, Asik or Lin from going into the toilet.

Having said that, the team is far more enjoyable than any since the Yao/TMac injuries. We stole the top young SG in the NBA that would be leading the league in scoring if he had not played with the flu. We have a top defensive center that is an underrated rebounder and has great size, and importantly he brings hustle and effort every game. Parsons continues to improve into a Detlef Shrempf clone, and Morris has a pulse. Lin is not an all star or superstar, but he is smart, plays hard and is an underrated defender. He is a better version of Bobby Sura. You also know Lin will play hard and not have problems with coaches or teammates, unlike Lowry or Brooks.

We still ideally need a real alpha top 5 player to become an elite team, but we are set at 4 of the 5 positions.. Still have trade assets and cap space to try and add an elite 4 or can offer Parsons and others in trade for a true elite player.

Morey has done really well. The White situation hasn't been good... But Asik and Harden have been home runs and Lin has been solid. Now just need Jones and DMo to emerge and hope none of the starters get hurt.

    Fortunately, Lin owned Lowry.

The Houston coaching staff should know that stat. The team will be better the more Lin runs the offense. What other team has their shooting guard runnin the offense more than their point guard? Harden is good but Lin is the superior playmaker.

I have Harden, Varejao, and Lin on my fantasy team and they're all the top performers tonight.

The Raptors have only won 3 games and there were a blowout waiting to happen with all the close 4th quarters they've had recently.

The Rockets haven't won playing in Canada for several years so that would be the better indicator against the Raps.
