People were clamouring for Patterson to start over Luis now they don't even want him to play. Come on fellas make up your minds.

Power forward needs to become a timeshare for the Rockets at this point.

Let Terrence Jones and Patrick Patterson duel for it in game time situations. Thunderdome for it.

    May the best Wildcat win.

His softness is entirely mental: He just gives up space whenever there is a more mentally tough individual within a foot of him giving him the slightest shove. Also his boxing out is terrible as he loses track of his man 80+% of the time.

We saw it loud and clear yesterday. Even Jones is better at setting screens/picks than PPatt. I guess that's part of the reason he's NEVER used in PnR/PnP even though you'd think w/ his mid-range game the coaches would emphasize PnP.

he was used frequently in pick and pops in his rookie season. different coaching philosphy or regression of play is the reason why he is no longer used in them.

We saw this in pre-season actually. Jones was the only player who I saw set a proper pick for Lin & then roll hard to the rim to hit him with a nice pass for the dunk. I wasn't surprised when he did this yesterday. Jones will steal playing time.

For me it was the freaking floater in the paint to avoid Dwight Howard last night.

You are a giant human being. Accept the challenge and attempt to posterize.

Aggression on a finish is usually rewarded in the NBA!

Patterson wasn't showing off his shooting touch to me, he's playing like a 6 foot point guard.

It is agonizing to watch this degree of passivity in a player this talented who should be finishing strong at the hoop instead of getting mindworked by shotblockers.

Patterson would be a nice 7th/8th man off the bench on a contender. As a starter, I'm quite turned off by his lack of rebounding and his finesse offensive game. Can't get to the free throw line and doesn't shoot threes = inefficient scorer.

You absolutely trade him if you can get a star player in return. Plus that would open some minutes up for Donuts/Morris/Jones

Still not rebounding, although he has looked better the last few games, a few actual dunks.

Patterson reminds me of Chris Webber. Minus the hands.

If by "hands" you mean passing and rebounding and ball-handling in the open-floor. Maybe you have in mind a hobbling, 34-year old Chris Webber. :)
