It's silly the Rockets were up by more than 20 and they did not use that cushion to give him any rest...so then he was forced to play nearly the entire game.

 

You gotta give DudeWah credit. He's been critical of Lin, but he's proven he's objective.

 

I agree. I thought Lowry played well for the most part. The only thing I hated was his body language. I know he's frustrated, I would be too, but the way he acted towards Ross or even 2Pat after the foul just screamed a**hole to me.

Lin played very good positional defense on Lowry. But it happens. Lowry had a poor game, but he'll bounce back. He's that good of a player.

Another thing, Lin is a pretty solid 6'3 / 200lb guy. His 'strength' on defense is underrated.

 

This is just the beginning. Believe! The young ones will dominate in a few years.

Looks like that extra "explosive" training he did during the 3-day break paid off.

 

Why can't all the Lin fans be as realistic as you and a few others seem to be?

 

Yep, Lin is a big point guard who is more explosive than given credit for (when 100% healthy). He has above average physical tools for the position, and great court awareness.

 

One of the problems Lowry will have throughout his career is that he is undersized compared to 90% of the players in this league. Hence he will sometimes struggle to get his shot off and is why he does not have a good fg % for his career though.

I feel kind of sad for him though. No player deserves to be stuck on that Raptors team with Bargnani and Fields. I bet he wishes now that he had stuck with the Rockets.

 

I'm a bit apprehensive about how we're going to fare in the 2nd half tomorrow night. Last time we had a back to back at the Jazz we played like a bunch of old guys (knicks). Sampson has used the bench more in closer games against teams that have been playing better than this.

Hopefully Harden will be fired up that he will just fight through the fatigue.

Yeah, those guys are THE most respectable commentators I've heard on an op team. They must've mentioned McHale/his daughter atleast 5 times, and gave all Rox players love throughout the entire game.

 

People forget that he's 6'3" barefoot. With shoes he's closer to 6'5". For some reason other NBA players get the inflated "with shoes" listing but Jeremy is always listed at his barefoot height. D-Rose for example is listed at 6'3" when he's closer to 6'1" and Jeremy is definitely taller.

 

Great game guys, a little sloppy with TO's from Hardin/Parsons in the 4th but they both hit a lot of key shots and played great D.

The Bench in the 2nd half was garbage, how is Tony Ouglass still playing over Machado?

Lin vs Lowry wasn't what I expected, Lin's onball D has been very solid all year, quite a surprise. Also had to rub my eyes and do a double take on that Lin dunk...

 

I know... but I just wanted to stick it to the haters, just this once.... and as my leaving gift

LOL! Very true. He is young though so this is to be expected. Young players are crazy inconsistent. But he seemed to have a great pep in his step & was getting to the lane at will. Hopefully he builds on this. The OKC game should be fun.
