White said repeatedly that his anxiety disorder has not been triggered for a long time. So all this saga is about his anxiety of his anxiety disorder.

I don't like what White has been doing so far.

But Rox as an organization can always find replacement, but for White, maybe this is his only chance in NBA and his only lifetime chance. So, as much as I don't like him, I hope Rox could give him one more chance.

It's obvious Royce thinks very highly of himself.People that are in love with themselves don't usually commit suicide. Not sure where your so called "vibe" comes from but diagnosing someone as "suicidal" from a few tweets is not really the thing to do.

He might not be the most #TRANSPARENT person, but when the subject of the conversation tells you that he is no longer assigned to the DLeague it is the most credible source, unless he is lying - in which case would destroy his credibility amongst his #AnxietyTroopers and everyone else around him.

I'd be VERY disappointed if Royce doesn't play D-League ball.

Would be unbelievable for a pro-baller to skip his (rookie season) camp start, show up fat, tweet like an idiot, and then be given a free pass on it all because of public pressure over a mental illness.

    Oh dear.

Not sure how credible it is, but a recent hoopsworld article quoted Morey:

[rquoter]There was speculation last week that fellow rookie Royce White was going to be joining Motiejunas and Machado, but they’re utilizing a different plan with White that does not currently involve playing for the Vipers.

“We had never said anything about Royce White coming down here,” Morey said. “Royce is someone we’re working through the issues with and we’re optimistic that we’ll get things back on track with him.”

The Vipers will have another chance at the Jam on Saturday night.”[/rquoter]

I was going to quote that article, but...poopsworld.

Plus articles came out saying that Royce white was assigned to the D-League, and I think that if the Hoopsworld article is right, Morey is in damage control for & covering for Royce White.

From one with years and years of experience with this - I believe you are wrong. Not just wrong. Really really wrong. Do you have an iota of experience with conditions like his? Are you a psychiatrist? So basically you are just being a blowhard. I don't think you should be expressing your opinion about things you don't know anything about. Especially this one.

I think what he said is that the condition laid him up for years. Expecting a quick recovery for Royce is probably not realistic. but on the other hand:

I would have to say that the transition to the NBA could be a huge trigger that he possibly could not handle. Support structures are so important in his case. The Rockets are taking a perfect as possible tact - "We just want you to get better - Please see the psychiatrist".

Deepest sympathies man. This situation is way to complicated for the average layperson and most fans are unqualified to make any judgements. We need to be able to separate the player from the person. We have made this way to personal.

This could be the case, but when he says things like:

    1) This isnt about flying
    2) I havent had a panic attack since I was 18
    3) #protocol #awareness

These kinds of statements make it seem his reasons for missing in action have nothing to do with his anxiety what so ever, and therefore its some sort of political or personal game he is playing with the NBA and the Rockets.

What is the current holdup? Is there something that can't be agreed to after talking face to face for about 20 minutes?

Whatever dude. Think what you like. Unless you have some experience with the disease, does what you think matter?

My guess at the reason White isn't assigned to D league, which Morey confirmed, is that the Rockets don't want him anywhere near any player they are associated with. He is TOO BIG a distraction, I have no idea what their plan is but I don't think Royce is a part of it at this point.

Only a giant demonstration of maturity amd sustained professionalism can help this kid.

The current hold up is that Royce has no connection to what we call "rational reality". The chemicals in his brain are totally out of wack. He has better days and worse days. He probably will recover with great psychiatric care and a cocktail of brain chemistry altering drugs. Fifty years ago the treatment was frontal lobotomies and shock treatment.
