Chris Paul might be the best player in the league right now. I'm more afraid of Chris Paul than any other player in the league, including Lebron James, because you can't defend Chris Paul. Lebron will sometimes defend his own self, but Paul will not. Plus Paul has inside lobs (jordan, Griffin) and outside kick outs (Crawford, Butler, Bledsoe).

Therefore it impossible to defend Chris Paul.

You know Lebron has coasted so far this season right? See his effort level so far vs the playoffs. Dude is on cruise control. This is not the Lebron you're going to see in the playoffs. He barely posts up, attacks the rim, and gets to the line only 5 times so far a game this year.

The thing that worries me about CP3 is can he hold up for an entire playoff run. You know it's going to be 3 long and physical series in the West.

True, but they've had a much harder schedule. The lakers have yet to beat a good team.

who cares? we're barely at 1/5 of the way through the season, You try to beat the teams you can with the team you have. Lakers are 6-3 under Mike Brown. L at Memphis and San Antonio who are playing better right now and L at Sacto which is an annual loss for the Lakers.

I think the Western conference is wide open. 5 teams look like they have a shot at winning with a sixth (Denver being a dark horse).

Memphis, LAL, LAC, San Antonio and OKC all seem to be on a similar level.

All I said was that the Lakers have yet to beat a good team. They've played three good teams: Spurs, Clippers, and Grizz and are 0-3 in those games. And I'm not sure where you get 6-3 under Mike Brown since they were 1-4 when he was fired. They were 4-1 under Bernie Bickerstaff and are 2-2 under D'Antoni. I thought you were a Laker fan? You should know this stuff.

Anyway, the Lakers are probably going to flame out in round #1 or #2. They are too old and slow and Kobe and Dwight have terrible chemistry.

From 8-2 to (possibly) 8-6? Even if they pull this game out, they shouldn't be struggling with a depleted New Orleans team.

New Orleans has been playing out of their minds. It doesn't help that boneheads like Matt Barnes are giving them free points with flagrant and technical fouls.

A three point clinic by both teams. Antoine Walker would be impressed

trade blake or deandre, or both, for big men post players. so stupid how they start on the team and can't even stay in the 4th qtr if the game is close cuz they can't post or shoot fts. (not this game, but other games that i've seen)

all i see when they need to catch up or get ahead is cp3 and crawford iso, fun to watch, but they need the post play

All three of the Clipper home losses are to mediocre or horrible teams. That's either bad preparation or just indicative of the Clippers not being as good as the hype. Overall, their record is about where it should be given the schedule, but if they keep playing this way, they'll go as far as last year, tops.

That's why it's a long season. People start claiming who will be contenders 1 month into the season is ridiculous. Teams will go through highs and lows as the season goes on.

The picture will be clearer in March/April.

It's not even December yet and we're talking about contenders? Every team is a pretender for now except for The Heat.

This. I don't even care if Heat ends up as 8th seed.

LeBron will just turn on in the playoffs and become a living God as usual.
