Spoiler "We been on the road for 18 hours. I need a bath, some chow, and then you and me sit down and we talk about who dies." Great quote.
Unfortunately I found season 2 of Game of Thrones to be pretty disappointing, outside of episode 9. So many plot lines changed from the book for the worse in comparison to season 1. Hopefully with 2 seasons to cover book 3 they will do a better job, but I have lost alot of faith in them. I've really enjoyed this season of Boardwalk though and looking forward to the finale.
My favorite part and main take away from last night's episode: Spoiler Chalky White with the matching vest/pants and the two pearl grip pistols in the shoulder holsters. GANGSTER.
Just watched it, holy *************. It's like this season the writers had a lot of bumps in the road but now they're going downhill at full speed, they've saved this show. After watching the trailer for the finale a bunch of times, I'm pretty sure Nucky says "what's a handshake with you supposed to be worth", though it's definitely clear that there's a rift between Capone and White, in the trailer you can see Capone charging against him, but my bet is it ends up with nothing more than a couple of shoves or punches. Does anybody remember the nature of their interactions in the past? I don't think Nucky can betray Chalky after all we've seem this episode, the loyalty he received from him and how he showed the same to Eddie and his nephew.
Think it's just going to be a dust up, don't think Capone and White have interacted at all previously, could be wrong. Would be shocked if Nucky betrayed Chalky but that bit from the teaser about "a sacrifice" makes me wonder... Harrow is going to go in there ala Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver, not the first time that movie's been referenced (the attempt on Gyp's life while he was getting his rocks off, straight out of Taxi Driver).
Spoiler So gangster. Can't wait for the finale either. Have a bad feeling that at least one of my favorite characters will die
it looks like a nice smooth transition to more of a Capone centered season next year btw, loved how much less dialogue was in this last episode...just some good fine action
Before I had HBO, I would use watchseries.eu or watch-series...I forgot. That site would come through by the next day at the latest.
this season started slow, but the past 4-5 episodes have been great and the finale was awesome. "Tommy, close your eyes."
good ending, not great, but very good lots of twists and turns..should be interesting to see where they start the next season
Once again, Margaret is the downer of the episode. She just sucks the life and joy out of every scene in this series.
