Would be hands down the worst fine in the history of NFL fines, and that's saying a lot. Roger Goodell is one pathetic piece of work.

He touched an NFL quarterback. That's all but outlawed under Goodell.

Maybe Stafford should have kept his chin up.

I've written this before and I'll write it again. Florio is just speculating for hits on his website. He says everything outrageous, links all rumors, creates rumors, anything...it's all about Q rating and web hits to him. He's kind of like Skip Bayless. And I'm actually a Florio supporter, lol. I've followed him before he was any sort of famous. He used to run his website out of his basement and only made guest appearances on a local DC radio show where his 1st cousin was the executive producer. I'm happy for his rags to riches story, but when it comes to credibility, he has none. He's reported Mike Shannahan possibly being fired ever since year 1 (and sort of stopped this year). He's reported Brett Favre coming back way after that story has died. It's just his shtick.

True, he could be fined. And I could be sent to jail for slapping my ex-wife with my penis. But it ain't happening...

The NFL protecting their investment while taking away from the game...all under the guise of safety.....It was brutal, sweet, what defensive lineman work so hard for...and clean.

How are you supposed to hit a QB? Unless you change the game that if you get a hand on them, all their throws are ineligible to count as catches, if Watt's hit on Stafford where his bottom helmet snaps back INTO Watt's helmet counts as a illegal hit, then the game just ain't fair.

I just watched all 3 of his sacks on nfl network and he never touches stafford's head. Watt are they talking about? Also, when his 2 4th quarter sacks took place, Detroit was already in the lead.

The fact that they'd even consider that play a fineable offense is ridiculous. Especially when you consider the garbage coming from the Lions the entire day. Not just Suh...#66 on the OL who was going after Watt all day long. Throwing him down after he knocked down a pass. Threw a punch at Watt's head. Etc., etc., etc. If anything, the league should commend Watt for not blowing that piece of s*** up.

If Watt gets fined and Suh gets off clean i'll be shaking my head..

Not that i think Suh's kick was intentional but he was definitely playing more maliciously than Watt was (could be my bias or lack of NFL watching experience speaking).. much later hits IMO

Watt towed the line perfectly, he should be ok

When I saw that replay in slo-mo --Watt's head slowly coming up into Stafford's chin -- I felt we got away with one. Clean hit, pee-pee game foul though.
