Chander bangs cieling is an borderline star and elite role player which is a damn steal for a 2nd round pickup on a 800 thousend dollar contract.
Funny that we're looking out there for a superstar player to give a max contract to when we already have our future superstar in Chandler.
If chandler hit free agency today, I'm wondering what kind of salary he would net. For a second year player he's already shown drastic improvement and all it takes is one gm to jump the bid in free agency. Time will tell, and the market changes daily, but the truth of the matter is the rockets have a steal. This is a player that Morey should try to extend out as soon as possible to avoid free agency.
I actually start to believe that as well. This kid is amazing... He can do it all and is improving every day.he probably won't be that first scoring option but he should be capable of a 19/8/6 average with a couple of steals in there as well. Great 3d star for our team. Now we just need that star level player in the low post and we have our own big 3...
more like a Tayshaun Prince in Pistons' championship year. i actually believe DM should build this team follow the Pistons blueprint instead of the Celtic's big 3. we got our big Ben in Asik, Tayshaun in Parsons, Billups+Hamilton backcourt = Hardan+Lin (Lin has to at least get his shooting back though, if he can get back to his Linsanity form then Harden+Lin > Rip+Billups) all we need is find our Sheed Wallace (it's hard though, unstoppable scoring threat who can post up or knock down big 3s while plays lock down D) he's like a combination of the two names that've been most throw out on this board Millsap & JSmoove. if Lin doesn't live up to his expectation this year i'll package him with some of our remaing assets (D-Mo/Jones/Morris/White?/NY's picks) for Stephen Curry. he's probably the best shooting pg now who i think will be a perfect complement to Harden. Curry sucks at D though, so i really hope Lin can get his shooting touch back soon, hopefully just he doesn't has his leg strenghth yet because of the knee injury and a short term issue. go Rockets!
he doesn't really 'suck', he's ~average. I think he just can't get rid of that reputation because of all the Nash comparisons early in his career. Or maybe because his ankles are "broken", which happens to mean bad defense... He'd be a very nice fit, but there's no reason for the Warriors to do it, unless he breaks down or some of those players get much better. I like the Prince comparison for Parsons.
whose to say we don't already have it...or who's to say we even need it...can we not be champions in our own way...sports arenas all over the world are full of such examples...
It is funny how someone posted that CP25 is a scrub and will be gone from the NBA a couple of years from now. I wonder where is that poster right now? 0.0
