Starting Antonio Gates @ home v. Baltimore. On the wire are Rudolph @Chicago, and D.Allen @ home v. Buffalo.

Yahoo's complete guess of a player note is that SD could pick things up since they're out of the playoff hunt and there'll be less pressure to win. Nothing about Gaither being put on IR.

Carson Palmer v CIN or Eli Manning v GB?!

@mrm32, I got both of them too and I am kind of leaning towards Moore v Cin. I'm curious to see what others think too.

    I'd go Kaepernick

I think both are good options, but I like Decker's consistency.

I'd go with Eli at Green Bay but that's a close one. GB is without Matthews, Woodson and Sam Shields (starting corner). I think Eli is going to have a bounce back performance after the bye week.

"Dating back to 2008, in the first games after the bye week, Manning has led the Giants to a 4-0 record, thrown for 1,290 yards (an average of 322.5 per game) and has 10 touchdowns to only one interception."

Sorry for the double post but I'm looking ahead to playoffs in week 14 and trying to pick up a defense for that week.

The two best options that are available at FA are the Bucs at home against the Eagles and the Browns at home against the Chiefs.

I usually just play whoever is playing the Chiefs as they have been abysmal this season. Philly is number 31 against D/ST and KC is number 32 so either should be a good play for that week. Leaning towards picking up the Browns defense as Michael Vick should be healthy by week 14.

    Any thoughts?

Danario Alexander vs BAL or Jordy Nelson @ NYG?

Jalen Parmele vs TEN or Ronnie Hillman @ KC?

One more thing. Right now I'm starting R.White, E.Decker, and D.Moore at WR. I have T.Smith, D.Bowe, and M.Floyd on the bench. Am I starting the right three or should I start one of the bench players?

I think as far as consistency wise you are starting the right three. Alexander is the number one in SD right now and Smith and Bowe have been inconsistent the past few weeks.

Moreno is getting he start for Denver today btw. But I still expect a RB committee with Hillman and Ball getting some touches.

Started Eli tonight! Woo I'm up by 18! My recievers were a miss though because Smith and Floyd both got me 12 points and my starters only got me like 5-8. Since in my league, defense is worth a ton, hope Philly gets destroyed by Scam Newton tomorrow.

    <--- this guy right here

    Pick one:

    Stafford vs IND
    Dalton @ SD
    ______

    Pick two:

    Forte/Bush* vs SEA
    BJGE @ SD
    Mathews vs CIN
    Sproles @ ATL
    ______

    Pick one:

    Baltimore vs PIT
    NYJ* vs ARI

Special bonus pick for week 14:

    Pittsburgh vs SD
    NYJ* @ JAX

I would start Stafford. Extra rest, @ home, and IND has been generous to opposing fantasy QBs.

Choosing these RBs is tough. But I think I would go Matthews, he's been consistent with the yards and touches. He just hasn't found the end zone... I'd gamble this is the week he gets one.

Then I would play Sproles. The Saints will have to throw to keep up with ATL, Sproles is a big part of there passing game and it only takes one catch to break a 40+ yarder for Sproles. So I think he is the safest with upside. (Matthews also part of the SD passing game)

Lawfirm is playing well, but its been done against KC and OAK, two defenses who look like they've given up. And I'd avoid Bush against SEA, SEA is stout against the run. Cutler will have to throw.

Even though Batch threw 3 INTs, the majority of the turnovers was on the PIT RBs, and Big Ben could be back this week possibly. Whisenhunt said Lindly will start again for ARZ. So I gotta start the NYJ defense, road game for Lindly... could get ugly.

    Bonus:

Week 14 would be good pickup for Bush if Forte is not back for that game.

Henne has been putting up numbers, so I would avoid NYJ defense for week 14.
