Asik easily. Better rim protector. Far superior rebounder. Worse offensively but not by much. Tyson Chandler still can't shoot the ball from anywhere on the court so he really isn't that much better than Asik offensively.

Asik is younger and has far more potential.

Lin gave him that Derek Fisher treatment and put him in the spin cycle. Right after this Pablo went and bricked two 3's, guess he was still dizzy :p

Did Tyson forget Lin was in the opposing team? lol wtf. It's crazy how much he's regressed this season. From DPOY to literally playing no defense. I think the Olympics really took a toll on him.
And yeah, I liked that play too TTNN, mostly because that's what Linsanity was about, relentless attacking! Hope he keeps it up.

There is a lot more to offense than shooting the ball though but look at FT's Tyson is better at the line than Asik. Tyson screens is like staple of the Knicks offense. Just look at the screen Tyson set for Lin in the game by accident lol.

Novak was not in the game at that time, so:

"Fortunately he didn't pass to Chandler for the dunk!"

Lets not overreact. Until the 2 road losses vs. Dallas and Houston, the Knicks were 8-1 and playing stellar D, including in a game vs. Miami.

Frankly Carl, Im going by what the Knicks fans are saying :p Apparently he's been invisible the whole season. I admit I've only watched their last 3 games where he played 0 defense. It's just weird, he doesn't even attempt to contest layups or bother to jump for rebounds, maybe he started the season fine but I can confirm he's been completely crap lately. He just seems uninterested.

For some players, when they are not involved much in the offense, they just tend to be lazy on defense. Check Felton's assists. Most of them went to Melo...

I'd miss him too if he was the only one that passed me the ball. :(
Yeah I have noticed Tyson rarely gets touches now. :(

Lin loves feeding his bigs the ball. He always feeds it to Asik even though he is not the most offensively gifted person, but he is getting better in that department!

Relentless and smart. Notice he didn't get too much screens ie play set in the game against Knicks, most of his attack used pump fake, I don't think he will get much more successful in future games as other teams might get better defense.:(

Man Asik's finishing ability around the rim is the worst I have ever seen in a big man of his size and relative athleticism
