Just curious if all that hate for the lack of critisism occured from you end with Fox during the Bush years.

So it's the fault of Fox that MSNBC is a propaganda machine. And their propaganda is the good kind so it isn't an issue.

Only one of those two organizations have actually argued in court that they have the right to out and out lie to their audience even though they purport to be a "news" organization.

That being said, I refuse to watch MSNBC, CNN, and Fox unless it is CNN's hurricane coverage.

No, it's the success of the Fox News propaganda machine that MSNBC has become its counter balance. Can't you read?

The chart does seem to lend credence to an argument that msnbc is much more fair and balanced than Fox News, by a large margin, if not skewed to the left (which is really the middle these days).

It's the fault of Fox News that Fox News is a propaganda machine, and I want to thank you for illustrating that so beautifully with your chart. Kudos! What a great find. As for MSNBC, the vast majority of those who watch it, in my opinion, know perfectly well what sort of bias they have. In fact, I bet a much larger percentage of those who watch MSNBC recognize that the cable network is biased towards the Left, than the percentage of viewers of Fox News who realize that Fox News is biased towards the Right. I wish someone could come up with a credible survey about that subject. I'd love to see the numbers.

Agreed. I bet most MSNBC fans at least know they are drinking Kool-Aid while Fox News viewers actually believe the, "We Report, You Decide" slogan is true.

The proof is in the pudding.. You saw Fox trot out predictions of a Romney landslide with Dick Morris, George Will and others giving Romney 350-400 votes. Then come election night Foxophiles were angry and stunned Romney had his ass handed to him. If they didn't believe Fox was fair and balanced they would have known Romney had no real chance. Even posters on here that are more numerically inclined like commodore drank the koolade.

MSNBC watchers are so much smarter because they know it's all pure government propaganda. That makes it all ok, it can be accepted and embraced. Obama's Pravda is a good thing.

There are some right leaning posters on here that can be annoying and trollish, but you are just plain dumb.

    rtsy clearly hates America.

He is the most unpatriotic person in these forums. All that impotent rage directed at this great nation of ours, and he never apologizes for hating the USA.

...yeah, I think this is precisely the problem.

Here's a great video of a real journalist on Fox News.

The largest effect is that of Fox News: all else being equal, someone who watched only Fox News would be expected to answer just 1.04 domestic questions correctly -- a figure which is significantly worse than if they had reported watching no media at all. On the other hand, if they listened only to NPR, they would be expected to answer 1.51 questions correctly; viewers of Sunday morning talk shows fare similarly well. And people watching only "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" could answer about 1.42 questions correctly.

I would say FOX viewers are way more cultist than MSNBC viewers because they are blatantly lied to, yet accept these lies as facts solely because it is what they WANT to hear.

    just an example...
"How could there be global warming when it's snowing!?"

FOX is rarely interested in the truth or a meaningful debate (just like all of "rtsy"'s debate-less and discussion-less threads), and instead choose to push to their fanatics something they can agree with, even if it is a lie.

The common denominator here is usually fear or hate. (The same things the right radicals here are bonded together by).
