Because we have to see it to believe it. If there's one person you should never trust, it's a cable company representative.
Yeah, they will do anything to keep you. I guess if there is a silver lining in all this I too was able to get discounts. I received 31$ off my bill, free HD (= 1o$ a month), and another 10 $ off my internet for a whole year. Plus I am also getting free HBO and Cinemax for for 3 months. All I am paying a month for my internet and Uverse 300 is about 120 $ a month. That includes 4 receivers and one is a DVR. Gotta look for postives somewhere!!
I just called Uverse again and mentioned this to them but they didn't make me any guarantees. Basically the same crap as before, negotiations are still ongoing and we are making every effort.
Looks like a promising news to me. It's a really long chat with representative. I really hope we finally have CSN channel by Dec. 1st. We shall see. But if we don't have it by that date, then it's a hoax.
Inspired by the earlier posted chat, I decided to give it a try. This sucks. I will wait one more week then I will switch to Comcast. I have been trying to avoid it because of past customer service experience.
Of course you don't see why it's a bad thing. It doesn't affect you. More than half of Houston Rockets fans aren't able to watch the hometeam. That's why it's a bad thing. Given your posts in this thread demonstrating a complete lack of empathy for the rest of us, nobody expects you to understand that. Enjoy the games. Jerk.
Relax. I'm not being combative at all. If you refuse to acknowledge my numerous posts apologizing for my prior posts, I can't help you. All I'm saying here is that this will be good for the organization in the long run because I refuse to believe that this will last the entire season. I will sadly eat crow if it does.
How are the Rockets doing this year, by the way? A majority of their fans don't know. Must be nice to be able to tell us how big a deal it is or how upset we should get from the comfort of your home, watching the Rockets on TV.
Anyone of you already have switched from original provider to Comcast cable provider before and during the season?
