No, they were down 19 and won in the overtime: 111 - 108 Suns. Dragic had 20 points, 8 assists, 3 steals, 50% shooting.
What's with Scola getting benched in favour of the other Morris ... ? Also, Courtney Lee hasn't been setting the world on fire in Boston (moved to back-up role) either? And Camby not being able to get playing time over Kurt Thomas/Rasheed Wallace?
http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics/_/position/pg Lowry 1st, Dragic 3rd. Lin 48th. Pathetic.
Glad to see Dragic do well. But kind of feel bad for Suns fans. I mean, looking at that team is like looking at the Rockets recent past. Nice group of players. Some nice young guys with potential but not superstar potential. And too much mediocrity to either contend or tank. I really feel that's the type of purgatory I don't want to wish on any sports fans. And I'm so glad the Rockets are finally out of it.
Since we are looking back at last year, you should also remember that Dragic only shot 27 percent from the arc before the all star break. I don't love Lin, but I just think he's going through a shooting slump right now that is effecting his confidence. I like the aspects of Lin's game including his defense.
Toronto - Lowry is best player Phoenix - Dragic is best player Houston - Lin is worst starter It's like saying that Mike Conley is better than Lebron, because he has better record.
So what. Prime Kevin Garnett couldn't get out of the first round with the Wolves and he's one of the best players of the last decade. Team record isn't the indication of individual talent or efficiency.
Yes because lowry is reason the team is 3-10. What would the rockets record be without harden? You LOF always got to try find something negative about others to make Lin look better.
Dragic >>>>> Lin It was a mistake, but ok lets support the team. I only hope that Lin can produce more A than TO.
Dragic sucked a couple years ago and Phoenix traded him AND a first rounder for Aaron Brooks. Let that sink in. And be more patient with Lin.
Well I guess it depends if you are rooting for teams or individual players. People need to learn perspective when it comes to these players. With Lin's shot struggling our team is still just as good or better than our ex-Rocket's team, what does that say about our team's future. Now if you don't care about teams and just focus on individual players then you'd have a point but last time I checked basketball is a team sport.
Quite a few people have no perspective on here, they are stuck in the present and what you can do for me right now. It's pathetic but reality.
This. Hindsight is 20/20. I'm sure if Morey had a crystal ball he would have found a way to have a Dragic/Harden backcourt. Dragic is the better player now, but this Rocket's team is still not built for now. You make that Lin move everyday of the week in those circumstances over the summer.
You must have a short memory. Brooks was just coming of a 20ppg season. It wasn't like brooks was just a scrub. Lin got his contract off a stretch of 10 great games and 15 above average games. If Brooks who averaged almost 20ppg for a whole season on 55TS% turned out to be not so good there is a chance Lin just got paid of a hot 10 game stretch. I am not saying Lin will suck and hopefully he can at least get 14-7 on decent shooting, but stop trying to make misleading arguments.
