Too many knee jerk fans on this board. Lin needs to be given time. He is playing fine and still recovering from injury. It took Chris Paul 2-3 seasons to get back into form after his knee surgery.
he had some pep in his step last night.....looked like he could move again....and he smiled after hitting the 3 the thing that happened in NY was not a fluke....tooo many games he played like that i think the pressure was getting to him. Hopefully he can just go out and be Jeremy Lin and be a above average point guard....20-10 every night....with this team thats possible....i watched every Lin game in NY...he can play
actually he still looks a step slow and lost some elevation but he'll probably get it back as the season progresses
Damn so the one night he shoots 50%, he turns the ball over more than assist. Also seemed like Harden was handling the ball moreso than Lin. Don't know if it's Lin deferring to Harden or coaches choice.
I too watched every Lin game in New York. I've also watched every Rockets game he's played. The verdict on whether or not he can sustain play at an $8.5 mil per year level is decidedly still out. And that's being charitable.
Lin says he's using this three day break by working on his leg, knee. Whatever that means. I feel his knee is still not back to presurgery form and it's affecting his confidence and play. You don't see him driving too much with the same explosiveness as before. I think we need to be patient with him. He is playing really good defense and is rebounding and stealing well. He just needs to get out of the slump.
I really want you to explain to me where the "really good defense" is. Nate Robinson and Felton have killed him in successive games. Getting a steal every now and then is not good D. Chandler Parsons is playing good D.
Are you watching the same ******* games everybody else is watching??? Are you mistaken for Fantasy League???
How did Felton light him up? Maybe from 3 point land. But at that point the game was blown open. In the first half, Lin maybe allowed 2 points from Felton. He played excellent defense last night. All your posts have been hating on him, so I'm not surprised by this post at all.
Well...this thread is actually what Lin needs. He needs people to count him out and say that he's done or he's no good. Cos that was what made the 1st Linsanity come to life. The whole underdog thing. There's too much love in Houston...so 2nd Linsanity is stalled. So yeah...rock on LoH's!
Random Thought: In 2k13, When Lin scores in Houston the home court commentator will sometimes call him "Linsanity". That needs to be patched out of the game immediately.
I feel like this thread is just trying to rile up a certain segment of the population here, not cool.
