I'm streaming games now, whenever I'm able to watch live, for free. I found a pretty good site where I can get decent full-screen and it's typically not choppy.

I'm still angry with Les Alexander over the fact that he chose money over fans in so carefree a way. And I'll still miss most games since I work nights and I don't think one can DVR a stream.

But if I'm less of a fan this year than any other year in my middle-aged life, and I will be, so be it. Les, Incorporated saw to that. If Rockets games were still on television in Houston (on more than a single provider) I'd still know every stat on every player by heart. Instead I don't know most of the players' names. And from the little I've seen they don't look too impressive.

It's hard to say which was the dumbest move: dumping Adelman, dumping Dragic, or dumping Lowry. And, of course, again, in the case of the PG's, it was all about that international market. Money, money, money. I wish Les, Inc. would find a way to profit by selling the team.

    Anyway, back to the game.

If it's "choppy" it might be your internet.I know the quality is usually poor, but my streams usually are fairly smooth.BTW I have pretty crappy internet

I'd modify this to read ANY side. I wouldn't be surprised to find there are more than a few long-time fans, like me, who, seriously, just aren't bothered at this point.

And as the poll results indicate, we aren't blaming the end providers, like Dish or DirecTV.

I do check the forum once a week, or so, but no more than that, because I assume this may last longer than we would have expected. Someday I guess I'll find that it's available once again on DirecTV. But I don't check that but once a week either. Nothing against the players. But the brass "flopped" on this one pretty badly. Too bad the league can't fine them for it. ;) On the bright side, I have that time to devote to other things and very quickly didn't even think "What game am I missing?"

At least we have the Texans.

I watch if I remember its on and stream it. I don't set my schedule around watching it like I do the Texans.

I think it is time for picket signs to gou up so the rich owners of the rockets can get down to the commom mans left, which is not so fortunate to have their money. The rest of the world are laughing at usw

As I've been saying all along. This isn't about cable companies' failure to negotiate and it sure as hell isn't about fans... it's about more money for filthy rich owners.

I know I'm breaking my rule, but I'm not sure why this is a bad thing. Our sports teams getting more revenue from the network that shows their games is a good thing. It's why some teams are able to spend more money and have more financial flexibility than others.

Hate all you want, but the more the Rockets become profitable the more chances they will get to land and keep players like Harden (taking advantage of smaller market teams' cap situations like the Thunder, which have smaller TV deals).

And they finally build a great team that no one can watch? Define irony.

This is especially true in baseball where there is no salary cap.

That being said, that money will not be there if the fans cannot see the games.
