Would you be okay with Mercilus replacing one of the starters?

I played DE at Texas A&M, and I've had a laundry list of injuries including a torn groin. So...

If you didn't think that was a groin tear -- what did you think it was?

 

A strain is a friendly way of saying tear. Remember when Optimus has a strained hamstring in the game against the Steelers last year and then he had surgery on it and missed a month and a half. I think the training staff would only say it’s a tear if the muscle came detached from the pelvis

 

Ah good point. I guess I just assumed tear. Brooks was in pretty intense pain. Reminded of me of Hollis Price's injury about a decade ago.

 

I see your point, REDNINJA, if you see someone suffer from something that you too have experienced, you kinda just know...like when I see someone walking out of Golden Corral, I'm like, "I feel ya, partner."
