First of all, a lot of the predictions of Lin's points and assist averages were made before the Harden trade. Lin's role on the team has changed significantly since then, and especially compared to last season with the Knicks. Lin's field goal attempts per 36 minutes is down to 11.3 from 14.7 last season. His usage rate is down to 18.9% from 28.1% with the Knicks. If Lin were getting 14.7 shots per 36 with the Rockets, given his current effective field goal percentage, free throws per field goal attempt rate, and free throw percentage, he'd be averaging 14.1 points, and that's despite shooting 34.7% from the field.

Secondly, weren't you the one that said that 25 games wasn't big enough of a sample to judge someone? So now you want to judge Lin by 12 going on 13 games? Currently, the only thing Lin is struggling majorly with is shooting. 34.7% is bad, but Lin's hardly the first player to ever have a shooting slump. I want to give you a partial list of players that have shot worse than Lin's current FG% over 13 or more games (the number of players that have done this is over 300, but I've limited the list to All-Star point guards and shooters): Chauncey Billups (he's shot worse than 34.7% for a stretch of 13+ games 9 times in his career), Sam Cassell, Baron Davis (5 times), Tim Hardaway (3 times), Mark Jackson (2 times), Jason Kapono (former 3 point shot contest winner), Jason Kidd (12 times), Kyle Korver, Reggie Miller, Paul Pierce, Peja Stojakovic (2 times), Russell Westbrook (3 times), Deron Williams (2 times).

Do you get the impression Morey saw all the tweets accusing Sampson of racism and decided to do some PR? Lol

What I've noticed from this year vs last year is his lack of explosion off the bounce. He was getting to the rim or at least getting his feet in the paint last year off the dribble. This year,he can't do it. I don't know if he's hurt or anything, but its realy obvious.

Do you think his surgery was more complicated than what was said?

yep, he definitely doesn't look right - even his speed straight away at the rim. witness last night his breakaway on the right side.....2 knicks caught up to him easily to contest

It probably has to do with him losing 10 lbs.

On what planet is Nash chronically hurt? He is hurt now but Nash has been really healthy for much of his career. Also do you have any proof about the LAL wanting him in the first place.
