Yeah I predicted most improved player...guy is a beast! Fav player, hope they keep him for his whole career!
If he shoot like that...he's going to be voted in as an All-Star...no doubt! This is the best i seen him play EVER.
I wanted to see go for atleast 40 tonight. Didn't see most of the 2nd half? So why didn't he get more points?
If Parsons doesn't work out in the NBA, he still has a shot at male model. Win/win situation for him.
Because Parsons is all about the team and never about his stats he shoots and scores when his team needs him to score, he's the hero the Rockets deserve
Thats it, I'm a believer. He will be at least an all star potential player. We have our 3d piece for our big 3. We still need to find out if Harden can be the first piece or if he is the second piece.... So where do we stand now? I do believe we are set at SG, SF and C. We need another star level player at either PG or PF - preferably PF since we already have so much money invested at PG (and I still believe Lin can improve). Aldridge or Love and I believe we will be contenders in 2 years. Problem is we can't get them. Josh Smith is available but may not be enough for us. If one of our young PFs step up, maybe we make a run at CP3... Morey needs to get creative and a little lucky - it is very well possible that we can't see his plan for quite some time. But I have faith that he will at least make us a contender on paper in the next 3 years...
The way our players are developing game in and game out we wont need PF nor CP3... we'll need all the cap space just to hold these wonderful players we already have...
I'd like to believe that - but right now I don't see another potential star on the roster... Jones seems like Landry 2.0 which is not a bad thing but not the answer either. Morris or PPat look like role players. White has probably ruined his career already. And we haven't seen enough if Moti yet. Don't get me wrong, all of them could be valuable pieces for us, but I don't think anyone of them will make us contenders. In the end, all of em are expendable for the right player. The only short time star player we could get is probably Josh Smith, he would really help our defense - the question is can our coaching "repair" his offense, meaning quit shooting stupid jumpers and develope a better post game. He is still quite young, but it would be a gamble. But this line up might end up making a lot of noise: Lin/Douglas (or a new/drafted player) Harden/new or draft Parsons/Delfino Smith/Jones Asik/Smith
Remember during the lockout last season he played overseas for Choliet(?), a French team. I remember thinking early in his career that his game had a lot of polish and competed hard. He was a 'good rookie' so to speak. His shot is streaky so his star potential is a bit hindered but he reminds me of young Ron Artest, minus the crazy and the muscles.
