This is the role he was meant to be in. Everyone knew he would do well there. I'm actually happy for him.
Martin is and elite "role" player. Always knew he would thrive in that role. The new NBA flow rule is really going to hurt his game though especially come playoff time.
Looks like K-Mart cooled down tonight against the Celtics. 1-7, no assists, no rebounds in 31 minutes of play. Worse game he has had all season.
Didn't watch the game either, but he was bound to have off-games eventually. Still, he's shooting 54% from 3 so far on the season. Ridiculous.
I watch some of his highlights, he's probably having the time of his life right now because the other team can't afford to let Westbrook and Durant lit it up so Kmart just moves around and drains open shots or slashes and get fouled.
He was fouled in that flop play, though. Clearly got hit on the hand, then decided to exaggerate contact. He's just gotta learn not to exaggerate it so much.

What I hate about this defensive play and KMart being blamed. 1) Perkins and Ibaka on the court together against a small lineup. 2) Perkins on the court. 3) Perkins neither doubling nor covering his man or in anyway hindering LeBron's passing lane to his man. 4) Thabo sitting on the bench. 5) Brooks for all of the above.
I really thought Kevin and Kevin could be best of friends with all of their similarities. They are two of the best scorers in the NBA and I thought they could talk about the best methods to score off of each other and drawing fouls together.
Coach Bonehead just doing his thing with Perkins and won't admit the obvious. Why Thabo wasn't in for K-Mart will forever be a mystery. There is no explanation for it. Mayberry and Royce Wilson were pointed in their post-game columns about Bonehad playing Perk against the Heat. Looks like they are getting tired of being polite about it.
Tired of bricking over the last couple games, tonight he has decided to just keep stepping out of bounds on his corner 3's (3 time so far - half way through second quarter.) Lamb still won't get any burn.
