Royce White skips game and practice (UPDATE: White issues statement)

I don't understand why you are so emotionally invested in Royce White. If Royce can seem like an ass with the constant tweets, you are not far behind IMO.

 

If he's not in RGV, then why isn't he attending games? There's absolutely no reason for him to be absent. If he can go to bars to watch the game, then surely he can sit with them on the bench. Hell, even sitting in the lockerroom would work, at least he'd be there showing support.

He wants support, but isn't supportive himself.

Because he has a daughter who's going through worse things, yet she pushes through to keep doing everyday things...can't really blame him for feeling this way.

And there is something to be said about Royce collecting his checks right now. He should be giving up his checks to charity.

I'm emotionally invested with my Rockets...and RV6 makes a good point in regards to my daughter, who has inspired many people down under to keep persevering no matter what life throws at you & give no excuses, just do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done...but she can't inspire the #AnxietyTrooper to even go to practice & fulfil his contractual obligations.

Sad really.

It pains me to see someone using an anxiety issue as an excuse to shirk his responsibilities, when people going through much worse things in life still have to go through the daily grind...without the benefit of $85,000 a month.

He is a good kid who is throwing away his career, and also hurting the image of the franchise that I've supported for 25+ years.

BTW- he was the one who tweeted me calling me a 'clown'.

The title made me think there was some progress, but apparently there isn't any.

This guy sounds a bit crazy.

sadly, i think it's 'my way or the highway' with him. He's not open to any opposing views, regardless of how sensible they are.

He'll just call people clowns and keep talking about "awareness", "unsafe working conditions", "health vs. money", "protocol" etc.
At this point, he's targeting the people who aren't intimate with specifics of the situation and will support the general slogans.

 

At least he finally apologized for flooding everyone's timeline with his nonsense

The best thing that I came out of it was that Dmo was getting recalled.
