Denvers fc isnt loaded its thin, i think your thinking of utah, unless you think koufos, mozgov, and faried(plays sf alot) is loaded...

Also wilson is a 2/3 not a 3/4... chandler would be thier starting 3... do you honestly like a rotation of butler/barnes/hill at the 3?

Look i get your sentiment about thinkin bledsoe is untouchable but hes not... he would be expensive but hes infinately stuck behind cp3... i guarentee you would have said harden wouldnt get traded and if he did we wouldnt have enough... the truth is franchises makes tough decisions all the time... they may not wanna get rid of bledsoe but its the smart decision...

And of course they picked up his option, every team would... hes young, talented and dull of potential... youd have to be r****ded not to match any offer he makes because he makes for a great asset...

Now it may take more to land him sure but its likely he ends up getting traded but likely not this year...

    Cook, Aldrich, Patterson...Udrih, Udoh

We get backup pg and defensive, energy pf in udoh that can actually rebound. The bucks get solid role players and a true 7 footer to play center.

    Lin/Udrih/Douglas
    Harden/Delfino
    Parsons
    Morris/Jones/Udoh/Motiejunas
    Asik/Smith

It doesn't necessarily help our logjam at 4, but our guys are versatile enough to play center and sf.

You're missing a ton of names there. Koufos, Mozgov, McGee, Faried even plays center in Karl's small ball lineups. Gallo is allegedly a 3/4, Chandler is a 3/4, Jordan Hamilton needs development, Iggy is now taking up wing slots at the 3 as well, so that puts a premium on the other two frontcourt spots.

It's crowded. One of the most crowded, considering that none of those players are true bench riders.

Chandler can guard 2's but lacks the handles and passing ability to initiate the offense at the 2. Since there are two sides to a basketball court, he is slotted at the 3 and occasionally at the 4 in smaller lineups, like he sometimes is with Karl and often was with D'Antoni in NY.

Butler / Barnes / Hill is pretty solid at the 3, I'm not sure how that's a concern? The Clippers go small in games and slot Crawford as a 2/3 as well, and not as a bigger point guard like other teams used to. With their leading scorer coming off the bench like that and an absolute ton of depth at every spot, the Clippers are a good example of a team that is pretty much set, as is. They're ready to go to war and make a deep playoff run without roster tinkering or dramatic regular season trades, and they know it.

The Clippers' owner is infamously cheap, but I doubt they go cheap on finally securing point guard depth for the first time since...probably the Ron Harper days. It helps, too, that he has somebody other than his escort making personnel decisions for him now, too. ;)

We've been talking about trading for this guy, but the most likely scenario is that Bledsoe becomes available as a restricted free agent and the Clippers (cheap out) and refuse to match. So he might be available down the road, but only through willful overpaying.

cap is at 58 and tax is at 70 (and change). I think you mixed up those two things, judging by that post.
    Btw, hoopshype salary info sucks.

I don't think Denver wants to play Faried at 3.

Ok true i did forget javale... yes carl likes to go small... but that doesnt change the fact that thwy have 4 fc players and 3 are centers... also chandler is not a 4... maybe in spot small lineupd... he is actually listed as a sg... butler/barnes/hill sucks..?!??? Hoe is it good? Because its deep with 3 backups??? Chandler is better than all of them... and its thier weakest spot from a starting stand-put... cp3 beat pg in the league... jamal is playin gooood... barnes? Butler? Bench players ... griffin is a highlight reel and a marketing machine... jordan is thier c of the future...

Worst spot is the 3 and they arent a true contender, so yes they will "lose" a little depth for an added benefit... especially since they can afford it with chauncey coming back and being a greaaat backup...

Also i agree the best chance to obtain him is during the draft or the off-season in hopes sterlinga cheap ass doesnt match... but that doesnt mean its unlikely...

What do you guys think of trading for Nene. He is a 13mil player on a 0-11 team going no where. Morey has wanted him in the past.
    PG Lin
    SG Harden
    SF Parsons
    PF Nene'
    C Asik
I imagine it would cost a future pick and T.Jones plus filler maybe even a third team as trade partner.
    Tonight was Nene's 1st game back. 29mins 8-13 shooting 19pts 5rbs 3ast 2stl

Rockets need a shot blocking, rebounding, low post offensive presence at PF spot. They could trade for one, or better utilize their bench with Smith, Jones & Motiejunas.

I love Nene, but at 29 I am not sure thats where we want to go.

If you can nab two players at the same time of his caliber I think you do it, but other than that Id wait till after free agency this summer

    Jazz trade: Millsap, Burks
Jazz get: Lin, Morris, 2013 2nd
    - To clear up PT in their frontcourt. Also, they're shopping Burks who isn't fitting into their plans. Lin is a young PG who can help bring fans and Morris can bring scoring from either F spot.

Clippers trade: Bledsoe, Hollins, 2014 1st
    Clippers get: Burks, Motiejunas
    - Get 2 great young pieces in two positions of need (for the future). Bledsoe is good but still expendable. The 1st will be late.

Rockets trade: Lin, Motiejunas, Morris, 2013 2nd
Rockets get: Millsap, Bledsoe, Hollins, 2014 1st

He is a big who can score & block shots. Bigs cost money plus we will still have cap room. Yes he has 3 years after this year but I'm sure Morey would trade him off in last year as a expiring contract so he would be a 2 year rental. I think we could compete this year with him as our PF.

Clippers would not trade Bledsoe, He is their new starting PG when CP3 leaves.

Also I doubt Utah wants Lin. Mo Williams is playing very well for them right now.

#wizards have outscored opponents by 31 pts in Nene's 49 mins this season. They've lost last 2 games vs ATL & CHA by a combined 3 pts

Okay, so building off of last years vetoed trade, we know that Morey likes Gasol and Nene together, so I tried to find a way to get them both to Houston.

So trade (1) would be to get Houston far enough under the cap to just flat out absorb Nene from Washington, which would involve Houston sending Cook or Delfino to a fourth team with either cap space or a TPE along with a second round pick or some other small consideration. I am not sure if the 125 or 150% rules apply if you are under the cap, but whatever.

Since Washington is floundering this year, I figured they might be having buyers remorse with Nene and be looking to dump salary. While Nene is not worthless he did get an extremely high contract and is creeping up on 30 years of age, so trade (2) Houston could offer them their choice of Donteas Motiejounas, Terrence Jones or Royce White (via their Lewis TPE) in return for flat out absorbing Nene via capspace. This would give them one more young piece to grow with Wall and Beal moving forward, a huge TPE to use, and save significant money.

On to trade (3) with LA. The Lakers seem to be down on Gasol and looking for some salary relief and youth / depth. Houston could offer up Jeremy Lin, Patrick Patterson and Cole Aldrich for Pau Gasol. The Lakers get a young athletic PF in Patterson and Lin to backup Nash and eventually take over once he is gone. Aldrich is just filler and can be swapped for Cook.

The ultimate swap would look like this:

    To facilitating fourth team:
    2nd round pick
    Cook or Delfino

    To Washington:
10+m TPE, choice of White, Jones or Motiejounas

    To Houston:
    Gasol, Nene

    To LAL:
Jeremy Lin, Patrick Patterson, and choice of Cook/Aldrich

    Lineups:

    Houston
    Douglas / Machado
    Harden / Delfino
    Parsons / Morris
    Gasol / Nene
    Asik / Nene
