    I read:

    "I'm being doubled!"

    "I know the play!" x3

I'm pretty sure he is healthy now and has always been healthy. Texans just making up an injury to keep him on IR.

    Thoughts on the game:

Throughout the history of the Texans, this has been so unlucky...plagued with injuries...cursed...but for the first time...really ever...we are winning games were not supposed to...a combo of luck and just really determined play down the stretch of games...for a team to fight and stick through tightly...should be extremely uplifting...ie...Rudd making two huge stops on 1st and 2nd down...almost pick by mccain on the last drive by detriot in ot...sacks knocking out detriot from FG range on two drives...manning on his strip fumble on pettigrew...matt, arian and andre with huge plays during the 97 yd TD drive...the OLine...JJwatt...and Kareem freaking Jackson...great team game...playing hard when the body is tired...Kudos to Kubiak...the coaching staff...and of course...Graham for making the score to win the game...

    GO TEXANS

Well, to put him on IR to start off with. Once you're on IR, you can't come off, even when you're healthy. They put some exceptions in this year but I don't think any apply to Bullock. In all honesty, he didn't separate himself from Graham in the preseason. It could be that Bullock is legitimately injured but it could also be that Graham won the job and they didn't want to cut Bullock or put him on the practice squad (exposing him to other teams) after they'd spent a 5th round pick on him.

They kicked the FG on 1st down? I was trying to do a million things at the time, so what happened there? Time issue?

They had it in easy FG range. They just didn't want to risk a turnover. Two plays before, the ball came loose when Andre hit the ground and they had to review it to make sure it wasn't a fumble. It wasn't, but Kubes wasn't going to risk a similar play, an INT, a fumble. He just wanted to get the 3 and get out so as soon as we got it into what should be considered "automatic" range (it was a 32 yard FG), he sent the kicking team on.

That's not true at all. He was icing his groin for two solid weeks before the injury and his kickoffs had nowhere near their usual depth. It's a legit injury and the Texans fully intended for him to win the job.

Oh ok, thanks. I thought maybe there was less time than i thought, since posters weren't really complaining. Still seemed risky given Graham's inaccuracy lately.

You know it's the Texans year when they win games that they would normally lose 9 times out of ten. And what has happened to the defense? I know there are key injuries, but now it is like they are being lit up every game. They have made some key stops, but mostly they are being run over. Look at the numbers in the last two games. They need to stiffen up for the playoff run. You are not going win too many shoot outs in the playoffs like the last two.

Lmao, how do you miss Rackers? He is the same as Graham. Texans messed up by drafting the A&M kid Randy Bullock and not Greg Zuerlien aka legatron.

Yeah, but Bullock doesn't have a strong leg to begin with. Graham level strength.

When I think about all the crazy ways the Texans have lost games in previous years, it just seems like things are starting to even out this year. We shouldn't have won this game, but we did. I'll happily take this win and congratulate the players and the coaches. Another great game for AJ and for Watt.

The defense doesn't look good right now, but man we are missing some of our leaders on defense right now and it shows. I think having injured players is a legitimate excuse for the poor play. I think if we had Cushing and Joseph things would look much better, and that's just two of our wounded. Wade has his work cut out for him in the coming weeks to get our defense back to where it need to be. Happy with the win.

What a great win! As others have mentioned, we have lost so many games like this in the past, we should just take this W and know we've EARNED IT the hard way.

It sure is sweet to see AJ back to his stellar play. Foster looked more like himself today as well.

Sadly, I think the loss of Cushing is really starting to hit home. Hopefully after a little time off, Wade and the D can regroup as the Texans head into the Playoff stretch....

That dude Kareem Jackson is pretty good, eh?

Good teams win these kind of games - Happy Thanks Giving b****es

I ice my groin all the time when I'm not injured. Feels great and my Eskimo wife prefers it.

Passing team going 3 and 4 wide force us to play Nickel and that's where we really miss Cushing in the middle. We weren't able to get pressure with just our front 4 and our corners (aside from a healthy Joseph) aren't good enough to shut down receivers consistently when QBs have time to survey the field.

I definitely think that the way to beat us is to keep us in Nickel coverage the whole game and hope their defense can hold our offense for 4 quarters.

That's exactly what the Packers did - kept us in nickel the whole game and we got torched.

Even with Cushing out, a healthy Joseph may be the key. He had a groin issue during the Green Bay game and was out today. Hope to see him back and healthy by the New England game.
