I was so happy and excited to find this forum. I made a few post but I mostly lurk for hours and hours. I don't feel the excitement now because of the bash fest for Lin...thread after thread. Criticizing Lin for not performing well is acceptable but the hatred for him is so depressing and baffling. I wish the Rockets well and I hope they keep winning but I decided to remain a Lin Fan Only for now....yes LOF...and proud of it.
I always root for him no matter he played good or bad and thus also root for the team he is playing for to win. When he played good and the team win, I cherish him. When he played bad and cause the team loss, I feel bad for him and the team. And I know he knows it when he had a bad game and string of bad games and would try his best. As long as he played hard and unselfish, all good for me. And that I call myself a fan of JLin. If this entitled to be called LOF, so be it. Go Lin, Go Rockets.
Just terrible. That remark was in first person. It is one of the most popular memes on the internet. The meme has nothing to do with Asians. You're racist for thinking I was making fun of Asians. Anyways, We play the Knicks tomorrow. Perfect time for Lin to break out of his slump.
A stint in the D-League would do wonders for Jeremy Lin's confidence. He might even be able to go a little linsane down there. Get it done Morey.
A stint in the D-League would kill his confidence. No NBA starter would want to be demoted all the way to a minor league, most will just get their minutes reduced or forced to come off the bench.
We don't hate him on a personal level. He consistently, objectively sucked - that's the problem. He's just so bad.
Yes, he has been bad lately but please don't tell me that the fans don't hate him. I've never seen so much hatred from fans for a player like Lin. Like I mentioned in another thread, if the fans and the team are not happy with his poor performance then just trade him to the Lakers for example. Everyone will be happy.
Lakers fans might not be happy lol http://forums.lakersground.net/viewtopic.php?t=151258&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=1425
We don't on a personal level. Why the Lakers? I've heard this so many times. Why that team? What can the Rockets possibly get for him from the Lakers?
Isn't it obvious? Lin fans want him to go to the Lakers because of Mike D'Antoni and Steve Nash. Not saying it's going to happen, but that's why people are saying it. There's quite a few scenarios that would work with the Lakers, but that can be said for other teams. It all depends on what the Rockets management want to do.
In theory, he'll probably develop better with Nash and his role would be better of the bench but Lakers fans will be ready to crucify Lin. A lot are killing Pau Gasol right now, which ironically is someone McHale would probably love to have.
