Yeah, I saw those. Still, we can't expect Matt Schaub to go 40/40 and his completion accuracy is pretty good relatively to the other QBs in the league. All anyone can do at this point considering Matt Schaub's contract extension, barring a major trade, is to just hope he brings his A-game in the playoffs.
his accuracy is great. like all qbs with a beast like johnson, he is going to give andre the benefit of the doubt. 96 career rating, not many have that. And seriously, Houstong(cb) played a brilliant game against Andre and andre still got the last laugh.
I'm not talking about forcing the ball to ANdre but his overall accuracy sucked at least in this game. He over threw at least 3 passes today that were easy targets.
completes 62% of his throws and his accuracy is bad. let's just focus on the 3 bad throws. how about in two straight games he's made the throws when he needed to to win the game?
It's much harder to be accurate when you're playing catchup all day long. Heck, watch Rodgers last week and see how he managed to shred this Detroit defense.
He's an accurate passer, it's just his mistakes are too often at really bad times. The fact that we won two overtime games where Schaub had two picks in overtime is a miracle.
i agree. can't believe you guys are complaining about schaub. he's been playing very well. sure he's missed throws, but who hasn't. he's the least of my worries on this team. got to love how he's feeding andre more
I don't have the stats on me, but hasn't Schaub been one of the most accurate passers in the nfl since he has been a Texan ?
A lot of his bad passes come from not being able to step into his pass/follow through...that's an O line issue.
some of these guys are fantasy dorks and madden afficionados. they don't understand nor do they care about the importance of line play. They're dogging the qb for throwing away the ball, which is a smart play. The only thing I wish matt would do better, which is something we used to do so well when we would throw it around 600 times, is the hard count on the snap. Free passing plays.
