I can see a lot of love for him on this board. I agree that he has been playing poorly lately but if the Roxx are not happy with his performance then just ship him out and then the fans will not complain anymore.

That's not going to work. If you want fans who are loyal and who grow an attachment to the rockets and who buy rockets' merchandise, that's only going to happen if you successfully integrate Lin into the team and if he starts to enjoy even moderate success. Otherwise, you'll get the same situation as with the Knicks, where fans will be left with a bad taste, especially if they feel Lin's been hard done by or ill treated and they'll follow him to whatever other team he goes or simply lose interest.

Spiegel there u go generalizing again. I am happy and relived that the Rockets won . I am pissed off that Jlin is shooting bricks, I can't defend this bad performance, it's **** now. Just can't shine ****. But I am rooting for him and hoping that he will come through. If he does it will one hell of story all over again at this rate. Anyway If he plays like ****, it's bad for Rockets also. Who would want to trade him. This might be become a AMARE STAT sort of situation. So to ruin him further, would be to punish the Rockets also. Blame coaching and his knees and the "racism" of Clutchfans posters all you want, but when it comes down to it he can't make a shot or be relied upon to guard his man. That has to qualify him as a disappointment. Through all of Lin's struggles I feel most sorry for James Harden. From having Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant as his scoring partners, he has gone to the 2012-2013 Jeremy Lin. That would have to be jarring.
From what I could see, Lin lost his strength, his legs are still bothering him. Otherwise why the heck he plays so differently? I think this is mental. He cares too much of those numbers. 85% or 100% my A$$, just go out play your damn game and don't think you are still recovering. Fans already lost patients on him long time ago. If coaches lose patients on him, then he is in danger of losing his starting position.
