Maybe Lin was benched because Sampson knew he wouldn't get foul calls in crunch time..........

No, that is not what happened. Lin didn't deserve to play tonight. He played like a kid that played ball on the Harvard basketball team.

let's not forget the only reason Sampson is coaching is because McHale is gone for now...

We need to send Lin to the D-League so he can get his act together. He is just killing the Rockets when he is on the floor. It's like he is a benifit for the opposing team. Rockets are forced to play 4 vs 6.

The play where it was a 3 on 1 fast break and he got stripped/blocked by Kryptonate was inexcusable. You can't mess that up as a PG!

    Is he that mentally weak?
In your desperate effort to defend him you blindly insult him.

TD played late in this game the way Lin played late in games last season..... Some of Lin's best finishes came in games where he played poorly early on.

Geez, those are players, not machines. Even Kobe is not playing 48 minutes straight. Rockets finally win a game again. Lin played poorly. Now, stop making it a pity-for-Lin night.

Great win, we really needed this. Too bad Lin couldn't get back on track with the rest of the team. Hopefully he's motivated for the game against the Knicks.

This is a lie. His first two games he played really well. Then he had a game where he had a double double then he had the other game where he dished out 11 assits vs the LAL. Your entitled to your own opinion but you aren't entitled to your own facts. His scoring is really bad right now & he is getting frustrated & forcing things but let's not start stretching the truth. Anyway great win.

    How about a season's worth?

How often does a starting NBA player shoot 30% for 12 straight games?

Is it becoming a trend? Is it the norm? Scary to think about. 40%, a VAST improvement, would STILL not be good enough.

Tonight was a pretty good coaching job...against a team with defensive studs...I do agree that pulling players who are in a rhythm is a bad thing...but the coaches have to start somewhere...with a rotation...if players know they have x amount of time to do some damage...and they get back in the game at time x...their bodies tend to adjust to the schedule...and results in better game performance...

Now in regards to that...I think the Rockets should:
    1. Start running the ball through Harden at the beginning of games...Rest him first...then let Lin have a chance at running the game...carrying them through the first into the second...Start Douglas in the 2nd bring back Lin by about 5-6 minutes left...Have Harden come back around 9-10 min mark of the 2nd and let him play till the half...so far player substitutions have been very erratic
