i think one of the problems is jlin just doesn't do well against quick pg's, it's just going to take practice and time to learn how to play against quicker guards. he has potential but also part of the problem was the huge deal makes more pressure to perform.
he didn't ask for the contract but the expectations are there.

Why is there so much talk about Lin in here, he's deadwood out there. People should be talking about how awesome Harden is, and how this team is doing pretty good right now.

Yao struggled but had decent games with flashes of skill his rookie year before his 20 points against the lakers that confirmed his potential.

Lin...has shown none of that since the NY days. Still early in the season...but I have never seen a player drop off in skill in such a short time. Is it really just the surgery? I hope so, and that this isn't going to be permanent

If Livingston is still out there...why can't we pick him up again? Release Douglass, Cook and take on livingston?

Huge Asik fan here, but I have to say that since that elbow from Howard he has been God awful. His free throw shooting went down the tubes, he has been lazy on defense, he is not even trying to get in position for rebounds, and he is even worse on layups. He needs to get his head back into it, he's embarrassing himself against the team that let him go. If he has a concussion, then he needs to sit out.

Because he just might be the worst starting point in the NBA right now. Hopefully by the end of the season I won't be able to say that, but right now... Name some other starting PG on other teams that Lin is currently a better player than and I bet you I can make an argument for the other guy lol. He is looking like an overpaid backup at the moment.

Patterson super aggressive tonight down low. Coaches must have zero respect for Boozer's defense.

Patterson is playing aggressive tonight, like really aggressive.

    He also has 6 rebounds.

Aggressiveness in playstyle leads to more rebounds.

    Coincidence?

It's not hatred, but rather attention. Lin right now is a well-known name, thanks to Linsanity. When he did well, he was celebrated out of proportion. After two games of the season, him and Harden were called the best back court duo in the league. Nobody was complaining how Asik didn't get some love.

But the same attention can work against you, when you are in a slump. NBA world doesn't care about Parsons, and the majority don't know about him. When Jeremy performs poorly, as he's been for that many games, fans will jump on him. Fair or not, it's real life.

Damn...never even thought of that. That is a painful thought.
