So? Did I anywhere say anything negative about the Holocaust or trivialize its significance?

Since when can the Holocaust not be used in discussion or to make a point? The fact that we are taught about it so much should enable you to learn from it use to to not repeat crimes that were committed back then.

Supposedly, they came very close with Olmert as PM, but between his own scandals and Cast Lead, the negotiations died. There was (and might still be) a movement to draft Peres / Olmert / Livni for a center coalition for peace, but it has a slim chance of beating a wartime Netanyahu, who is naturally soaring in the polls and bought plenty of time from Israeli voters to do nothing.

Internal politics always come first. People want to keep their jobs.

Funny, his policies seem to have not changed a bit.

"no withdrawal from the Golan Heights, no discussion of the case of Jerusalem, no negotiations under any preconditions"

Not a chance of Israel being erased from the earth

The US would flatten the Arab world before that happened.

wow you want to talk about fake and you're supporting Israel?

The pictures posted on the page earlier are real. Some are just brainwashed and spreading idiocy.

    Eat the head.

It's also funny because Israel has hammered several buildings from which local and international journalists do their work.

Guess Hamas was hiding in the toilet.

Sorry for whichever pictures I posted which were inaccurate, just working off what's available.

It's only logical that if they hide behind children and women, they also hide behind journalists.

Yes, it is only logical. I heard they were even hiding behind Lord Moyne in 1944, those sneaky bastards. Churchill thought they were hiding behind Iranians. Later, Suharto found them hiding behind the East Timorese in Indonesia. Mubarak found them hiding behind the Muslim Brotherhood. Bush thought they were hiding behind innocent Afghanis and Iraqis. Obama thinks he spotted them in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen hiding behind civilians. These days, I hear many of them are hiding behind the Congolese.

Al Qaeda seem to think they're hiding behind *gasp* "WESTERNERS".

They sure do move fast. If this were a big game of hide and seek, they sure would be kicking ass.

In the mean time, the IDF should get a refund for the faulty equipment the they bought from the US with the money they receive from the US which sometimes can kill a guy riding a moving motorcycle, but other times kills a family of 9 with no member of Hamas nearby. Can't have that kind of hitch in your shot when the masters of hide and seek are moving around like ninjas in the night.

Oh and just in case you're wondering, adeel is talking about both of the people in that family photo.

As I've always said, keep your trash - both the weapons you buy and the people you buy.

I wouldn't trust direct internet polls because every news source in Israel has a strong bias of one kind or another (secular, religious, right-wing, left-wing, whatever) but I know there are "real" polls conducted by telephone that try to be accurate.

I've usually read about them in Haaretz or the Atlantic.

That's his entire legacy. But then, that's also true of Begin and Sharon, and no one ever expected them to make the concessions they did, so (some) people have hope.
