Your post is terribly bias, one might even go as far to call it propaganda. You're just showing Douglas getting scored on and Lin playing decent D. Those couple of possessions say nothing about whether or not Lin's defense is better than Douglas'. I'm not defending Douglas but come on with that crap. ClutchFans is better than this.

LMAO!!!! This is the best comment I've seen all day. I'm sick of everyone in the world playing the race card or the anxiety card or the whatever they can think of to get out of criticism card. It's just plain annoying.

Your opinion was totally false yet unjustified given such small sample and we've gone through this over and over again. The only logical explanation is that you were trolling, therefore zero response.

Yes Kobe is a rapist.

10/12 is definitely worth 8.3MM a year and if you disagree you are out of touch with basketball contracts.

Also, a top 5 scorer is worth 16MM a year. Throw in his 4 points and 4 rebounds and it's a good deal.

Lin is not living up to his contract but a lot of that signing had to do with marketability.

Two good signings out of three is a good summer

This. When you're a rookie, it is ok to be like "well the guy didn't pan out like we thought he would, not that big of a loss, he's on a rookie contract anyways right guys? and besides what if he eventually becomes a decent backup?" The thing with Lin is, the dude got payed big bucks and he's just not producing the numbers we expected. I think it's really the fan's fault for this though. We expected way too much for a guy that had a great run for the Knicks but we all knew that wasn't going to last forever. It was a good media story, and blah blah blah, but it is what it is. Morey took a risk on him because he knows he'll make money from the Asian fans, that is the only reason. Also, point guards like Lin seem to come a dime a dozen in the NBA. It's really hard finding a good all around center. We need players that are agressive and will attack the hoop. Someone like a Kevin Garnett, I know that's dreaming.

You analogy just dont add up. What did you expect? The guy who put up historical numbers in Knicks jersey? He's worth max dollar. The guy who's on the Rockets putting up 11/6.5? Thats 8 mil a year.

Remember, a player's worth is determined by the market, not by you forum analysts. Especially considering its 11 games into the season, sample size is too small for any rational judgement --- of course, nobody's gonna stop you from being irrational. But at least don't use double standard in your own post this blatantly --- 25 games is not enough to make one a superstar, 11 games isnt enough to write someone off either.

No, Kevin Garnett has stopped attacking the hoop, a long time ago.

Lin's contract is fine. Poison pill is poison pill. If Morey offered a MLE type contract then Knicks would have matched, and Rockets would be starting Toney Douglas. Or CJ Watson? I don't remember who was still available at the time.

He is a rapist, and he didn't win anything. That girl got death thread from stupid fans like you, so she didn't show up in the court. The case was dropped. The rapist did settle in the civil court, with a public apology to the girl for what he did.

Lin will be good but not now. Just wait. He has the intangibles that will make him an above average PG for many years to come.

Right now, he is all over the place which is normal for a player who played a few real NBA games. Lin is lucky that his was signed with a multimillion dollar contract that allows him to start even though he sucks right now. But I can definitely see him doing better by next season.

Lin in the NBA with a big target on his back (thanks to LOFs) made him kind of like a duck out of water. Coupled this with his growing pains, he is lucky to still average most of his averages.

    Coaching still sucks though.

I don't think he sucks at all. If we had a power forward on this team who was worth his money, and if Asik could finish gimme layups, Lin would be averaging ten assists right now. His shot is messed up, but I can see him improving it. I have liked a lot of what I have seen so far from him.

Some of those points came in overtime when Lin wasn't even playing. Also, some were against Douglas and Parsons.

Kid needs about a year of experience
Lin missed 4 layups and 2 more wide open shots
10 assist taking away because Rockets can't hit 15 footers and layups

Starting PF 1 rebound in 24 min
Lin 6 rebound in 24 min
    Houstons frontcourt is terrible

Lin leaves the game to rest in the 1Q losing by 4
Lin comes back in the game mid2Q losing by 23
Toney Douglas is a Black HOle of Garbage
