Exactly this is what I was noticing. That is why I was saying that he needs to get better at setting screens. The only player who I think I have seen roll to the rim with a purpose was terrence Jones & that was in pre-season. so don't know if you can really trust that.

    Remember what happened in Toronto??
Bosh is not that guy in my opinion, he's best suited to be the 2nd fiddle behind a dominant player, in this case Lebron.

    Btw Bosh is 29 y/o.

I do remember what happened in Toronto. And yes Bosh is older now but he is still a productive player. SMH I am starting to sound like Bosh's wife now. But honestly everybody says x player is only suited to playing x role until they do otherwise. Remember before people said Pierce would never win a title. Dirk would never win a title. LBJ would never win a title. Now it is Melo will never win a title or Mike Dantoni's system will never win a title. LOL. Same tune every year. Like I said my main picks would be Bosh LMA Cousins Love in really no particular order. Any of those 4 guys I would feel comfortable risking as the man & partner them up with Asik parson Harden Lin I could feel comfortable as a nice starting unit to try & contend. Milsap, Jefferson, Smith aren't "the guy" types to me.

Quick question: how do you ignore people (not you) just curious as to how you go about doing it.

I agree Bosh would be a bad fit for this team. He is a prima donna who only wants the spotlight but not the accountabilities that come with it.

At this point of the season, I'd prefer a Zach Randolph type player who does the dirty work and board like there is no tomorrow.

I personally think that throwing in some slip screen plays would do wonders with this squad. Asik fakes the screen on harden, then dives straight to the hoop, so when they go to double team the ball handler, Asik is wide open, and the passing lane is huge. Also, when we run a normal pick and roll, the defence would have to play it honestly and guard Asik, even though he isn't a great roller.

Well I will give you that, but still, he's 29 years old and what we need is a PF who can grow with the team and put us over the top. It's not like we will be contending right away after getting this guy, the team will need an extra 2-3 years to gel before they are a serious contender --- thats why age is probably the most important factor here. 3 years later Bosh will be 32 and hes not gonna get any better than he is right now, I will pass.

For me the bottomline is 27 years old, by the time team is ready, he should be at the 30 y/o mark, in his prime without much physical decline.

LMA/Milsap/Love fits the bill perfectly, Cousins is a headcase I'd rather not have him.

I would not settle for anything less, after all these years, championship or bust.

Omer, rocket's life and death depend on him being able to finish his dunks and score ft. rockets were competitive when he was able get double-double.
But i got to admit it was his fault we loose to lakers, at Q1 howard was able to score 6 consecutive layups due to omer's bad defense. He didn't try to hustle howard.
at Q3 omer changed his defense strategy, and to me he was able to contain howard, but it was his offense's turn to be off.
cole aldrich knew the techniques to contain howard for a while, but at q4 howard really got his way.
until we find a decent scorer, omer must finish his dunks and ft. what worries me is his dunk tehnique is very raw, he went straight to the basket. other teams must have been studying ways to block his dunks

ZBO! I love him, but he should not be in a rebuilding teams long term plan.

Fair enough. I never really thought of it that way. No to Milsap yes to LMA or Love & 1000000x yes to Cousins. I would take DeMarcus in a heartbeat. I don't think he is a headcase just immature. But he would be the best fit for this team out of every player we discussed. So young still so much upside, potential to be so dominant. I think he would be great for this team oh but a girl can dream.

Agree to disagree. Maybe not so much for Milsap, but I think he's seriously underrated given his role on the Jazz squad.

Imagine if we get k love? Him and harden? That will trickle down to help the rest of the team including Jeremy Lin who can do what he does best which is to give him teammates best shots. But didn't love just sign an extension last year? And I'm sure Kahn would want the house to trade him away unless live starts demanding it a la Dwight...
And don't even think about amare.. That would help the Knicks free up their burden. He is always injured and getting worse by the year.

No way to cousins... No need for another head case after white. After this debacle, highly doubt morey would try to get cousins. Too risky.

Geez. Aren't you the one who made that polarizing thread:"All Is Not Well Among Houston's Asian Lin Fans" which sounded you are the fanatic LOF yourself?

There are so many ways in which the offense could be better. It isn't bad it is just unimaginative. The Pacers offense is bad. The rockets don't really have any practice time which sucks so everything is being learned on the fly. And when you implement something you need a lot of reps for it to stick particularly with a young team.

Well I don't think Royce is a head case. And I don't think Morey would be stupid enough to not go after DeMarcus because of his immaturity. But that is just me.

True. Thanks for the conversation it was fun.

The truth of the matter is that it is almost impossible right now for this team to acquire the power forward they need to start competing. A player like Kevin Love or Aldridge is what we need, as many others over here have noted. But why in their right mind would their teams trade them to us for our crappy power forwards ? One way to get out of this would be for us to land a lottery pick, and use that in a trade. I had started this season hoping we'd be in the playoffs but now I hope we have the worst record in the NBA. This team obviously isn't going anywhere and people vastly overrate mediocre rookie talent on this team.
