    Geez, this does nothing to quell that small fear of flying I have. I mean I still fly but stuff like this worries me.

    I flew in an Airbus A380 to Germany in August (from Houston.) No problems at all, and the landing was super smooth. It was a Lufthansa flight. LH 0441. A daily flight from Houston to Frankfurt.

    And this comes from someone who doesn't like to fly.

    When I flew on an Emirates A380 out of Dubai, I never noticed flames coming out of the engine. My personal experience is clearly valuable to this discussion.

    Also, that plane is HUGE... and they wouldn't let me upstairs, hmph.
