Yeah, because the universe only has 33 more clutchfans thread starter modules left, after that, no one can ever start a thread on here again.
I was about to ask the same thing in another thread. I think this is very telling about a lot of things. Toney Douglas getting so many minutes, ISO-ball 5000 offense to close out games, Jeremy Lin the camp shooting specialist, Coachin uncertainty, .... We were playing too well the first couple games and it started to look like we might be a borderline playoff team so Morey called Master P and got the keys to the SOLID GOLD TANK !!!! ALL ABOARD !!! I CALL SHOTGUN !!!!
If the NBA lottery is rigged, then the least David Stern can do is give us a top-3 pick this year. As his final, goodbye gift for screwing us in the Gasol trade and for the amount of money Yao made him.
Lottery protected first round pick. Altanta owns it via New Jersey. We make playoff, it's not ours, if we don't, it is.
Wow, and you've come up with this conclusion after he has played in exactly 1 college game? And how did he perform in the McDonalds All-American game against the top High School Compitition? Oh wait you would actually have to follow him and not just keep up with him in the stat sheet of a single solitary game. I love your words of wisdom but maybe you should try following your own advice before making rash statements next time.... And give the guy more than 1 single college game before you act like you have uncovered some secret trend that the rest of us are missing.
If we don't get one of the top 3 picks Morey will have to work his magic because, from all accounts, this draft is looking like a dog's breakfast.
If the Rockets some how get a top 3 pick, we will really be set up well with Harden, Lin, max FA and top 3 pick.....
There are a few outside of the top 3 that could become very productive players, such as McAdoo... but it is a real crap shoot.
So, which players in the next years draft would you even consider potential stars? Anyone that could come in and produce in the next couple of years? Any potential Melo, Amare, Aldridge - or even any potential LeBron, Kobe or Dwight? Or is it more like the last drafts, with several players that might have a bright future, and a good #1 pick that probably won`t ever be a first tier star but might be an all star for a couple of seasons...
Shabazz Muhammed at the 3, Josh Smith at the 4, Parsons, Jones, and Motiejuanas off the bench. Good stuff.
I predict ~ 25 wins this year, it is about right right now. Les may order Morey to get Pau Gasol if this team is not improving, then the thing could become worse.
