Exactly. Totally bizarre. You don't break the rhythm of the guy trying to cut that huge lead. I was giving Sampson the benefit of the doubt but you nailed it - he is rigid in his substitution timing and can't get his guys motivated.

2nd night of a back to back without your best player and this is bound to happen. Open shot after open shot for the Jazz and the Rockets could not play to their strengths.

This team really needs a more balanced roster and James Harden on the court. Our PGs might be the worst in the league. Lin was dreadful, as he has been all season, and Douglas no better.

Marcus Morris played well and I would love to see him get more touches when he is on the court. Patterson looked strong early but dissapeared late in the game. Good to see Jones out there getting playing time, he adds a size and quickness we haven't had, Same with Greg Smith, who I would rather have on the court than Aldrich.

Jefferson had 16 rebounds in 27 minutes. Would love to snag him at the deadline if he is cheap.

It was the problem, but today's problem is no one can buy a shot

It's amazing with all the 6'9" PFs Morey drafts, we cant find a decent one to play in the lineup.

Even Calvin Murphy is off his game tonight:

An 80 million dollar contract, the Toronto pick, Lamb, and K-Mart all so we could draft at 14th again.

Clutch is clueless sometimes...they just looked tired out there tonite...no energy at all...keep missing wiiiiiide open shots...we were lack of scorers... this is a big deal but Lin should be the PG, not the Beard if you ask me.

Something that always bothers me about Parsons, it is really the only thing is that he handles the ball in transition. He is terrible at it he really needs to stop it. He is way to TO prone. Also Patterson had 1 rebound tonight. Lin has out rebounded him repeatedly.

Sampson should be more flexible when players are in Rhythm. One thing D'Antoni is good at is NOT pulling out a player/unit when they were playing well.

Sometimes the 2nd unit would run 6 mins, sometimes they'd run an entire quarter.

No point swapping units just for the sake of swapping units. It's hard enough to catch players in rhythm... yanking them just as they're playing well is just silly.

After observing the Rockets over the past eleven games, I've determined the Rockets are horrible in two key areas, shooting and ball handling. Other areas of the game they do OK. Also the defense has been embarrassing the last three games. And maybe coaching is bad. Everything else is good or average.

So many power forwards drafted by Maori. All equally crap.

That's an incredibly stupid and shortisighted comment.

The Rockets traded for James Harden 11 games ago so he would be the first piece of a championship core. Our team is full of holes right now and probably won't be a competitive team until two years from now.

If you were expecting anything this year, that is on you.

Parsons was playing PG... ONE good adjustment that Sampson made in the 3rd.

TD was playing "shooting" guard for most of it.

Yeah, and it would help to have the 2nd leading scorer in the game.

I don't think this is about Lin's role on the team, but a lot of people here love to call Harden Hero-ball and moan whenever he misses a shot when really Harden taking so many shots is seemingly what is best for the offense, at least until someone else can prove they can consistently score.

not sure how the crowd is at the toyota center, but watching the knicks last season get out of their funk was the crowd giving them a boost. young players feed off the crowds energy and you can't even help them out. Shame on you and go find a new time. Bunch of xmas grinches out here.

this forum is worse than the raging bull forums when i day traded, bunch of pushers and bashers nothing more. Help us out admin and start banning the turds
