Hank has to have to biggest case of butt hurt I've never seen. Constantly posting about BU. Looks like we have another outstanding recruiting class coming in and aggy remains irrelevant.
Hank may have more posts in this thread than anyone. It's akin to someone buying a bumper sticker of a competing university's logo so they can put it on their car upside down. Oh, wait.
ESPN released their first preseason rankings. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-bas...-lead-revised-top-25-plenty-changes-elsewhere
major infractions and you get probation? NCAA is a joke. Either apply a punishment that fits or don't call it major infractions. I think the large conferences should pull out of the NCAA, appoint a real leader, and get rid of the tattle tale nonsense.
They are "major infractions" in name...and the NCAA agreed that the punishments that BU gave itself were sufficient punishments. They gave up scholarships and the men's coach can't coach a couple of conference games next season. They didn't just get probation...they got probation on top of the punishments they walked themselves into. But don't pretend for one second that the NCAA looks the other way for Baylor. That's a joke. What you do need to know is...despite all the innuendos from rival teams....after months and months of investigations digging around BU's programs, the best the NCAA could come up with is: "you need to do a better job of monitoring the number of texts you send."
That is the tattle tale BS I was walking about. It killed the SWC, it constantly happens in the SEC, and it is the result of an underfunded, weak governing body.
Dominic Woodson from the 2013 class committed today. Probably the largest front court body we have had since Foster.
Yea I was pretty bummed when I heard about the Harrison twins getting in bed with UnderArmour. Pretty much killed what little chance we had at landing them. However, I like the idea of LJ Rose taking over the point in his sophomore season. With his skillset as a true PG, we should get the most out of these athletic bigs that keep committing.
I think our front court might have raised some eyebrows. They might not have the experience that last years did, but they have twice the aggression. When Austin went down, I held my breath, but we would do just fine without him for a week or two. When him and Corey Jefferson are on the court together, the paint is on lockdown. Later in the year, I'm also looking forward to seeing Austin in that 1-3-1 zone.
He hasn't been ruled out of Fridays game, but nothing more than that. Day-to-day. Certainly hope he's back for Charleston. Love to hear this kind of statement coming from the opposing coach:
I was extremely disappointed, but you're right. It's early. I'm not sure if it's the coaches, or Brady, but he seems to be trying to create with the ball in his hands way too much. He may be getting forced into it with the pressure Jackson see's, but it really seems to be affecting his rhythm. Hope he's able to get more open looks with movement off the ball in the future. The rebounding issues against a smaller team are nothing new. Typical of our zone defense, and the young frontcourt will get better at boxing out. Hopefully, the early loss helps. Colorado was by far the most physical team that we have played, and it's good to see someone like that early in the year. Still think Dec 1st is very winnable.
