I don't know if Sumlin was trollin' the 'Kats or that the kicker situation is that bad(probably the latter), but he sent Manziel out for the PAT(although he missed). His day was over after that. Showers in(and throws an 80 yard TD bomb on his first attempt).
Yeah Klein wetting the bed like this has made it entirely possible, if not probable. Just as long as Johnny doesn't self destruct against Mizzou.
Sumlin said his phone has been ringing off the hook concerning recruiting. There is a balance of power shift in the state of Texans. Sumlin is building a monster at Texas A&M. They will dominate recruiting. The move to the SEC was genius and is paying off.
Just like it was in the late 80's and 90' (ignoring the payola). Both schools recruit the same players (just like every major program in the country), yet both schools recruit different players at the same time. They will be ok, everything is cyclical.
Johnny Manziel became the fifth player in FBS history to pass for 3,000 yards and rush for 1,000 in the same season. He's 166 yards shy of Cam Newton's SEC record for total offense in a season. The Aggies close the regular season against Missouri at home.
Well since they now have 31 in their class they can't sign any more unless they have some nonqualifiers or drop some commits. If Seals-Jones, Alexander, Thomas, Savaiinaea, or any of the other guys the Aggies are still in the running for pick them, it's going to be tough for the Aggies. Tough decision, but a good one to have.
They will have some lost to grades as well as several mid-years that will count towards last year. However, they're still in a bind given how much interest is now being expressed by commits. They definitely filled up too quickly this year. Next year's recruiting should be real exciting.
Well they only had 19 signees last year, so the 6 slots under the cap carried over to this year, leaving 31. They're already filled up, no room even for mid-years. That 25 cap is going to really make things hard if the Aggies can keep the success of this season.
