eremy Lin IS the worst SHOOTING guard in the league...

not sure why you signed him up to be a SHOOTING guard...

and then complain when he sucks at it...

no most LOF fans think it is stupid to make him into a shooting guard...

because we know he sucks at it already... and we know this isnt his real game...

but if you want to make him into a shooting guard.. thats fine...the ROX pay his salary, and this is a team game...

just shut up about his cr@@@@py 3 point shooting....

because you know its gonna suck

I remember Nate Robinson had a terrible stretch of bad, bad shooting a couple years back, but he evetually got back his shooting touch later in the season.

Lin is 25-29 from FT line. So in theory he should hit front facing 15-17 ft shoot with ease. My suggestion is he should call for pick near top key (college 3, not NBA) and if defense gives him 17 ft go it. Make sure your body square to basket and go straight up. I notice he seem lean back like it's contest shot even though he wide open. General if make first jump shot give gauge for the next jump shot. That first make can be the confidence booster which he totally needs right now. I like to see coach try setup play early in the game for him and try get this shot.

Or other thought he just a really crappy shooter and only thousands repetition would solve it. That Clutchfan going to be very painful season to watch.

he's so hesitant, he's psyched himself out. it seems like a psychological problem/mental block at this point. get the hoops whisperer over here!

exactly what i was thinking. why treat him like a starter - pulling him out on garbage time (LA game), yet treat him like a 2nd unit in crunch time (Portland OT).

not bashing sampson, i am sure he knows more than me. i am just perplexed.

Wow...10 ppg 7 apg 4 rpg and fifth in the league in steals I think deserves a little better than that at 24-years old. Reminds me of the time Steve Nash was traded from Dallas to Phoenix early in his career. The Mavs went with Nick "the quick" Van Exel. A lot of Dallas fans were not high on Nash either. We'll see.

Lin has been above average for a PG in rebounding and block shots. He is so far one of the league leader in steals. His defense has improved a lot since last year. The last 2 games shows that Lin has been improving dishing the rock. The only thing that Lin has been terrible at is his shooting. Last year showed he can shoot and Lin has no issues shooting at the foul line. I think he can turn it around eventually and start hitting some of those open jump shots and that will open up his game even more.

That certainly makes me feel better.

We can only hope that Jeremy Lin will someday become as good as Nate Robinson.

Eremy Lin would arguably not get any minutes for the Knicks had he still been with them.

Raymond Felton and an over the hill Kidd appear to be better

Actually, that's I don't agree with this at all.

Felton was picked up only AFTER Lin was not signed.

Felton is currently being played heavily WITH Kidd on the starting 5 due to Shumpert being out, with Felton being asked to play the Shooting guard as often as the PG.

IF Lin was still in NY, you would most likely see alot of Lin/Kidd simultaneous lineups, with Kidd and Lin exchanging PG duties as the ball moves, and a good chance of Kidd playing SG alot due to his very high 3 point shooting.

Anyone have a list of starting PGs in nba history who have shot as bad or worse than Lin in a season?

I meant if Jeremy was on the team along with Felton and Kidd.
