Typical GARM reaction, they wanted to tank yet they want to win every single game. It was clear with Dragic/Lowry this team wasnt going anywhere therefore all the roster shakeups, guess what? after 10 something games they want them back. All the fans are more or less the same, emotional and irrational. But this GARM army is something else, they are special in a sense that they have absolutely no shame, they can say anything that does not make any sense at all; they don't believe in stats; they use double standards in their own posts and when someone else call them out? they rage and start namecalling; Anyone who has a different opinion will be automatically labeled as 'X'OF... I would assume it wasnt this bad when Yao was drafted. Oh well.
Nobody complained about Harden's 5 TO? Let me do this for some of those haters, Harden you are a joke! 5TOs? Yao Ming can handle the ball better than you!
Win or loss, good or bad, "Jeremy Lin" is always among the top 5 thread on the front page. No one is interested in talking about Harden while he is actually your max player.
Andre Miller did it for 4 games in a row last season in addition to having back to back 10+ assist games 3 other times: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/m/millean02/gamelog/2012/
Harden threads would go like this Post #1: Harden needs to keep down the turnovers Post #2: I agree /thread Lin threads WHY YOU HATING HE HAS 10 assists, why don't you go complain about Harden he's your max players, here's a list of players that gets paid as much as Lin and also sucks, also Sampson is racist also Lin needs to be traded to the Lakers because he deserves better.
LOL yeah & a lot of Harden's TO's are from really stupid decisions like dribbling to much when teammates are wide open. Lin's TO's are from doing something aggressive to get his teammates shots. I take the latter over the former any day. I honestly don't cry over TO's a lot particularly with young players.
And he's been in the league like what? 13 years? And you're comparing a 3-year player vs a 13-year player?? Yeah, that's absolutely FAIR!
And Lin's thread would go like this(well it's already going like this anyways) Lin : 5TO. Start thread: Lin is a joke! Post #1: He's the worst starting PG. Post #2: He sucks TO prone. Post #3: Where are all the LOFs now?
Everyone shouldn't base everything on stats. If you watch every Rockets games so far this season, the main issue here is how Jeremy Lin is being misused by the coaching staff. And because of this, he has lost his confidence. Playing passive and unsure because he has to defer so much.
I didn't see him deferring against the Lakers. He had the ball in his hands quite often in the second half. He wasn't able to generate enough offense to keep up with the Lakers attack.
Lin was playing excellent in the 2nd game. Since then he was asked to be a 3pt spot-up shooter. He slightly got his confidence back last game. Again he was benched for ridiculous reason in OT. Each time Jeremy seemed start to get things going, he was held back....
Yeah lol. I agree. i am kind of confused as to what Da_Spark is saying. We just got beat by a better team it happens. What did people expect. We are lucky Nash wasn't playing otherwise it would have gotten really ugly really fast.
You asked a question and I gave you your answer. Your question had an inherent premise that no backup pgs out there have had back to back 10+ assist games, but when you were presented with evidence to the contrary, you start talking about how it's not fair, lol. Now you're extrapolating.
He actually started the game with a nice aggressive layup and i finally saw him take and make his first tear drop layup of the season (correct me if i'm wrong). But the thing with his game right now, his confidence is at an all time low. It's almost like he's afraid to make mistakes and miss shots rather than staying on attack mode for the entire game which is what made him so lethal and successful last season. You can blame it on the coaching staff, Harden being the #1 option, or the lack of a PF or C who could roll and actually finish strong ala Amare or Chandler but on thing is for sure.. he is just not playing with the same fire, hunger, and motor. He tries at times but again, once he commits a turnover or misses a jumper, you would almost certainly see him defer on the next possessions on offense.
Morey's got to put that b#tch sampson out to pasture. Let him make a couple of bucks in retirement as an Obama impersonator.
I think you are reaching a lot on this. He looked pretty confident out there to me. He was attacking the lane pretty aggressively Howard & Pau where there to cut him off. He had a lot of sweet passes including another no look pass. The only thing people are upset with right now is FG% justifiably so it is really low right now. I doubt it will stay like that all season though.
