Seriously, glad a veteran poster agrees :p
Lin got 10 assists plus the good looks he got PPat who bricked them. His penetration was pretty good, not as good as the Blazers' game but still nice.
No his shot is not there, in fact it's horrible. Im sure it'll come back when he gets back into the rhythm of playing his position comfortably, this is literally the 2nd game he's played his PG. At the beginning of Linsanity~ his shooting was just as ugly.
I better read more articles about Lin shooting for hours after the games. He knows it's there, we know it's there, let it out!

Anyways, since the beginning the team didn't look as energized as the last game  kinda worried about tomorrow's game. Sampsons' gotta fire them up.
Dwight is a freakin' mountain of muscles, nothing our bigs could do to control that beast.
Some silly passes that led to turnovers, expected from a young team.
T.Jones got extended minutes! Happy for him, showed his rookieness a few times, but for the most part played like a boss :p

Dragic and Lowry are gone. Move on and focus on what we can do going forward.

that's not true at all. memphis wins plenty without conley having to score much. same with rondo.

dragic and lowry couldn't bring the rockets past .500. not their faults.

He gets a tad more assists than Rafer.
He just needs more time to find his comfort zone.
Imagine the Thinker is still figuring out his PROTOCOL by being honest and transparent right at this point.

Even if Lin keeps shooting only 8 or 10 shots a game, and only makes 2 or 3 of those shots, but keeps dishing out 7 to 10 assists, I would take that any night on a young team like this. Well work the converted points on those assists.

What this team needs is a true power forward, and a center that can not only catch Lin's passes, but ALSO score off of them.

In Portland he was extremely clutch. He was the only reason we even forced overtime.

He had incredible shooting games early in the year but it had to even out.. so it shouldn't come as a surprise if he struggles in a few games.

If you watched the playoffs at all last year you'd see that Harden is very clutch. He needs to develop chemistry with his teammates and Jesus he's only 23.. his ceiling is very high.

Lin is shooting 35% from the field this season. He shouldn't shoot the ball at all unless he's completely open.

When Lin plays well the team wins. When he plays poorly and Douglas's number gets called early we have to resort to watching a poorly run offense consisting of contested jumpers and turnovers every other time down the floor.

PG IS THE MOST IMPORTANT POSITION IN THE NBA. If your PG has an off night then his team will lose 90% of the time.

A good PG scores that scores 18 ppg while dishing 10 assists accounts for 40-50% of a teams points if he runs the offense well and doesn't turn the ball over. Do you see how important it is? Do the math and you will realize why the Rockets were .500 these last few years with no defense, rebounding and the smallest front court in the league on average.

Time to blame Lin ONLY guys............

The best matchups against the big Laker front line was either Morris or T. Jones. We put ourselves at a major disadvantage by playing P. Patterson. Asik played small against Howard (although a lot of Cs do that).

The difference in the game was the Laker bigs were setting good screens, our bigs were not. We end up jacking contested jump shots, and the Lakers run off that stuff.

Sure would be nice for the Rockets to have a coach again. I hate watching the team do stupid things like letting cole aldrich play or having players shoot tear drop shots like Rafer Alston.

lololol. Glad to know there are so many future NBA GMs/Head coaches/players on this board.

We got beat by one of the most talented teams in this league and I ain't even mad. They have 3 future Hall of Famers out there and one of 'em wasn't even playing. Just imagine the total demolition of this team had Nash played.

Did I mention we are the youngest too??

There are plenty of games out there to win and many opportunities for improvement. On to the next one!

    One word - patience.

I still love this team to death. Win or lose. Go Rockets!!!

He IS only taking it when he's open. He's just not making them. He needs to shoot his way out of it.

    I swear.

90% of the HArden haters are 2012ers.

I'm not hating on Lin fans, some of them are good members...but some of you I wonder if you're just mad because Harden came here and it's now his team or something.

I get tired of seeing Harden take a good shot where he drives into the lane, gets contact, but doesn't get the whistle or finish and about 8 of you go "Heroball "

Rafer had one of the best handles in the NBA. Lin is more Moochie than anyone else. He's a roll player off the bench at best

We have the youngest team in the league yet a lot of people are expecting us to win every game and play perfectly  We aren't OKC so I don't see us making much of an impact in the playoffs or play consistently in the regular season for at least a few more seasons.
